I sold and my buyer used Withy King. Both the buyer and I were really keen to make progress on the transaction, but Withy King held the process up terribly.

For example, Withy King held the transaction up for three weeks over a covenant that dated back to 1860 prescribing that any fences at the front of the house had to be less than 6ft high!

To make matters worse, the staff at WK are brusque and really rather rude, which may reflect a lack of time and overwork rather than anything else. I came inches from abandoning my buyer and returning to market, including instructing the estate agent to relist the property.

If you want a quick sale or you're a buyer who wants to keep a seller sweet, do not even consider using this company.
