What a complete joke Wickes are, my son and his wife ordered a kitchen in early Ferbruary, and delivery was arranged for March 2nd. On that basis my son booked a professional kitchen installer to start work on Monday 12th March. On the morning of March 2nd the lorry turned up at 7am but believe it or not my son's kitchen was not on the lorry, just the paperwork! Following numerous telephone calls delivery was rescheduled for Wednesday March 7th, but a telephone call from someone at Wickes then advised my son that the delivery was not going to happen until today, March 14th. The installer was informed and understandably he told my son that he would be charging him for 2 or 3 lost day's income. I went to my son's house this morning to wait for the delivery so that neither he nor his wife would need to be off work for the day, the delivery being scheduled for between 8am and midday. The lorry turned up at about 10.30am when the driver informed me that they only had "A few bits and pieces" not a complete kitchen. Those bits and pieces turned out to be some plinth, some cornice, and some handles, so basically nothing that would allow work to be started. My advice would be to go anywhere but Wickes for your kitchen their customer service is completely reprehensible
