“Blocked for no reason”

★☆☆☆☆

written by on 18/07/2013

Reached the £25 payout fairly quickly, up to this point I thought Vivatic seemed pretty good. Requested my payout and instead of getting paid, I got blocked. Supposedly for completing the same survey too many times. Absolute rubbish as you have to enter your age, gender, postcode etc so you are only able to complete the surveys they allow you to. They do not answer to emails, they just keep your money.

I seriously doubt that you were "blocked for no reason". All survey companies have methods of checking how their panelists are behaving on site, and you have obviously (whether knowingly or unknowingly) done something to cause you to be blocked. People have been scheming survey panels since they started, and just like any other type, i.e. credit cards etc, they will find a way around any security measure. For that reason, survey companies have to have the strictest of systems in place in order to put a stop to any suspicious behaviour.

Before anyone suggests that I work for Vivatic - I do not! I work in the creative arts industry, and take surveys to fill in time between jobs. Just because I write well and can articulate my thoughts does not mean that I work for Vivatic or any other survey company. I have noticed that anyone who is remotely capable of stringing a decent sentence together must be "working for Vivatic", which just goes to show the reason why survey companies clear these suspicious panel members regularly.

The moral of the story is: take care when taking surveys.
