If you like your music and you have a collection of digital music on yoru PC or Mac that yuo play through your home HiFi then you definitely without question need to buy a good DAC. This DAC is fantastic, its a small device that plugs into your USB port on your PC which also powers it and then converts your digital signal into a far superior analogue one which is output through the rear RCA out. Bass lines become deeper and more detailed, vocals stand out more and imaging is hugely improved. I was so impressed I also bought one for my office HiFi!!!
