I have now been a member for over 16 months as it is just down the road from me and I love two of the Zumba instructors so my only reason for staying after the 12 months of hell spent there.
Where to start, most members are not happy about the services or staff working there but do like some of the classes so stay as well for that and the convenience of being close to home but most of us really want to leave.
The equipment and facilities are poorly maintained let alone cleaned properly. There is always something broken, the latest has been the air conditioning which has been broken for over 8 weeks just when the summer finally decided to turn up! This resulted in very uncomfortable classes where some members nearly passing out during their workout and they even closed due to the temperature. The popular classes are a mess to sign up to as there is a limit of 25 for most classes but most of the time we are 30-35 members in there and overcrowded in the studios really putting our health and safety at risk. Don't even dare say a word to the managers there as they threaten you in front of everyone to cancel your membership if don't shut up! Complaining by email or telephone won't help as they just ignore you and never respond.
A really horrible and nasty gym to be a member at and if I had another option close by with my favourite Zumba instructors I would leave in a blink but unfortunately not the case at the moment.
The majority of the staff and the managers seriously need to go on customer services course to learn what customer service mean and the managers need to manage the place better to keep their customers happy.
I would not and never have recommended this club to anyone as this would be a punishment to them.

Couldn't agree more. Most of the customer (and the staff) think the fitness machines are there to sit on whilst they use their mobile phones and pose. The staff are ignorant beyond belief. The maintenance of the machines is deplorable. The pool is full of children, so can't be used by members. Complaints are totally ignored, even by the head office. All in all, not very good. Will be going elsewhere when my membership runs out.

From your comment about the air conditioning you must be a member of Nuffield Brondesbury, just like me. I totally agree with every word of your comment. The air conditioning has been broken for the past 8 weeks and it seems that they do not intend to have it fixed. None of the stuff know a thing about customer service and simply just do not care, I don’t blame them, they are most probably poorly paid. There is a serious hygiene issue. Machines are old and most don’t work properly. As you say something is always broken. Just like you if it was not for the proximity of the gym to my home I would have left long ago. I certainly do not recommend this gym, not even to my worst enemy.
