I purchased my second Mocad in 2013 whilst I was on holiday in England.
The first one I bought in 2007 from Comet in Weston super Mare. They have both come with inherent problems.
I found after many new switches that it was not the switches but the build up of carbon in the motor that was causing the problem of surging, I decided to take the motor apart (this is not easy)unless you have some knowledge of motors.
I am at this moment about to take the motor apart again on my old Mocad and clean it and blow out the carbon build up.
By the way I live in New Zealand and have given this info to Pazion Trading.
I like the design and compactness of the Mocad Golf Trolley BUT it does need the dealer to correct the faults that they have.
This is my second review I hope they(Mocad) read it.My second Mocad the frame cracked where the electrical wiring was fed into the curved tube, because they moved the hole closer to the centre frame, where there is more shock thro' it during use.you could see the fracture lines going outward from the periphery of the hole. This happened 2weeks outside the guarantee though it must have started weekening quite a long time before.
