“The Good, The Bad and the Plain Ridiculousness”

I opened an account with Littlewoods on February 20th and was approved for a £600 credit account. I began ordering a laptop and skin creams. The orders were accepted however it was only three days later I was informed that my order had been cancelled because it had not been authorised. In other words they needed me to pay a £60 deposit before they would agree to dispatch the items.

Instead of paying a deposit I just brought some items that came up to the value of £60. Fast forward five days later when I'm due to receive my items I'm called up by the security team and am told the delivery driver couldn't deliver my items as it wasn't going to my billing address but my uni address. Why on earth they couldn't have let me know before they put my items on the delivery truck, God only knows! I asked if they could just redeliver my items on another day but they said they can't do that and that they're returning my items to the warehouse but that I can put in another order through.

After five more days of exchanging emails with customer service and £15 of credit wasted calling their security team I'm told the £60 I paid using my visa debit card won't be refunded to my bank account but to my Littlewoods account as I have a credit account with them and not a cash account. So I would advise anyone who has a Littlewoods account and plans on paying for an item using their bank card, if you do wish to get a refund then that refund amount will only be refunded back to your Littlewoods account.

It is now March 5th and I've just received my first order and should receive the rest by Saturday. However, word of warning once I've paid off my account I have no intention of using Littlewoods again. They're incompetent and whenever something goes wrong you spend hours on the phone being bounced back from department to department.
