I bought this book for my husband for his birthday and it was a great buy. Big pictures of the food...secrets from the man himself, lot's of culinary chemistry. We are both die hard fans but didn't have a chance to go to El Bulli as it is impossible to get into and the last time we went to Spain it was closed. If you are stumped on an idea for Christmas, it might be a good option. Even if you are not a chef sort of person, it makes for a very lovely book on display and weighs 5 pounds or so. He has a new book coming out as well with recipes that are cheap and east to make...new birthday present perhaps? :)
