I travelled to Guernsey via condorferries and they packed the vehicles so closely together that there was insufficient room to access our vehicles on arrival both ways. This resulted with me hurting my back as I had to climb in through a small gap in the passenger door over the centre console as the drivers door could not be opened more than a couple of inches or so. The vehicles were also nose to tail and I tripped up a couple of times on tow bars as well. This incident partly ruined my expensive holiday and when I complained to their head office was dealt with in a hostile manner their Group Risk & Insurance Manager. He risibly informed me they had to load the cars in that fashion due to SAFETY! I presume they adopt this behavior as they have a monopoly on this particular route.
