And as this is cheap, you get a below standard service. You are almost dealing with a call centre - they take ages to answer the phone, cut you off - and to top it all the staff are rude. Most of the communication is done by email - all to keep costs down.
They take at least 24 hours to pass on messages between prospective buyers & sellers, and conveniently lose information.
When you are paying your money upfront - why do they need to bother about the service once they have your £500 in the bank.
Stick to the traditional high street estate agent, who look after their clients and work hard to earn their money. If you want to go cheap, expect a sub-standard service in return.
