My new back door was delivered broken and installed crooked. It still is.My front door is faulty and can barely be opened or closed safely anymore. The frame is crooked and incorrectly fitted.My new 4Mt bi-fold door arrived with very Sharpe edged drain holesMy guttering doesn’t catch the rain in several places and my cladding was cut.My new dry-verge kit was installed incorrectly also, Having over-lapped the sections to the tiles instead of under and installed it over either old mortar or no mortar with no batten extension and as a result I have damp cavities in several places.At least 8 panes of glass were delivered and installed with hand prints on the inside of double glaze. The 6th and final set are still sat in my lounge.A lintel was installed above my bedroom window as none existed previously only to find out later on that it does not conform and is not strong enough and my bricks are cracking as a result.Overall extremely poor service and quality of products.

Do Emerald insist on having both home owners present at the quote visit? This really bugs me! I am currently on maternity leave so have some spare time during the day, my husband works all day and the last thing he wants to do is sit around with a salesman in the evening. Can anyone recommend a company who will simply come over, do the quote and leave it with us?
When Martin from Emerald came to give me a quote I was never asked who would be home. I was never asked if I owned the property solely or jointly. He merely came and talked me through the process, clearly showed me all my options, and measured up.
The quote arrived later for my perusal. It was great service!
