purchased this item 2 years ago but only used during the summer(3months/year) was like new but this year looked like it worked but there was no water in basket.Sears customer service refused to help: their answer was to send it back (minimum cost to check it was over $100 for a $160 appliance) it did not make sense nor that it would not work after 2 years(my old one lasted more than 15 years)My advice: Do not purchase any Sears product unless you purchase add. insurance
