“Good and bad points.....”

★★★☆☆

Good points : Once your programme is actually set up, they do take away quite a lot of stress by dealing with your creditors for you. Having said that, they are woefully incompetent in the event of a query, such as denying knowledge of a creditor that they have already sent payments to and not responding to emails until screenshots are sent to them to prove they HAVE had them and have just not actioned them.

Bad points : The harassment! Having already explained so many times that I can't take personal calls at work and that my significant other is not aware of my situation, they BOMBARD you with telephone calls - even on the work number you provide. As if you can sit in an office full of people and discuss your dire finances!! Despite asking - in writing - numerous times for all contact to be in writing (makes sense - then there is a paper trail), they still call and bother me every month despite the fact that I never answer.....they are supposed to take stress away, not add to it.

Very bad point : I was looking for a loan to consolidate my debts and these guys called back and said they had found it for me. They skimmed over the details, told me I would be debt free in 2 years and sent the paperwork. It wasn't a loan - it was debt management and the only people getting money to pay off my debts is Valour FM.

In the end I guess it is worth it as the calls/letters etc from debtors was driving me to a breakdown but this company could be more personal, sensitive to each individual situation and some stability would be nice. Been with them since April 2013 and am on 4th or 5th account manager......
