“Customer Service? I think not!”

I ordered a Series 3 Land Rover fuel pump repair kit and eight days later it hadn't arrived so I contacted customer services who kindly invited me to wait another week so that they "can look to raise a claim with Royal Mail". You see, I am not interested in Rimmer's claim with Royal Mail, I just want my fuel pump fixed as Land Rovers need a fuel pump to make them go! Customer service? More like customer, serve us! A proper company would reply, "sorry you haven't received your part, we'll get another out to you straight away, if the first one arrives please return it". They have lost a customer who has spent hundreds of pounds with them for the sake of a £16 repair kit!

“Worthless!!!!”

Worthless!! Very first time I tried to use them, the part showed in stock I ordered it, paid for it. 4 weeks later no part, no correspondence - nothing. So I called them, Dont have the part, customer services will call you about the issue. Customer services calls me "well you cant have been that desperate for the part as you have waited four weeks to call". first & last time I will use these miserable timewaster. Go to the scrapyard you will get better service!!!!

Their response & mine, I learned why they are called Rimmer Bros: This is a wholly inaccurate review an has also been placed under a false identity on other sites, we know who made this review as he threatened to do so!
We could not supply a door handle for an old rover car in the paint colour the customer ordered, as it is no longer produced. We do not charge for goods until we despatch so the customer is wrong in stating that he had paid for it. We offered him an alternate handle in a different colour but the customer declined this as he would have to paint it to match his car. We have a recording of the call and we did not state "well you cant have been that desperate for the part as you have waited four weeks to call" that is simply a fabrication.
My response:
I waited patiently for a month
They did not contact me.
The customer service told me"You cant have been that desperate for it you waited a month.
They offered me a different one at an inflated price.
I did not decline I accepted the different colour at the same price I had paid for previous items.
Recording of the call play it you [email protected] - its exactly as I stated.

This is a wholly inaccurate review placed under false identity on multiple sites we know who made this review as he threatened to do so!

We could not supply a door handle for an old rover car in the paint colour the customer ordered, as it is no longer produced. We do not charge for goods until we despatch so the customer is wrong in stating that he had paid for it. We offered him an alternate handle in a different colour but the customer declined this as he would have to paint it to match his car. “TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!! AVOID THIS SUPPLIER!!!!!!”

I placed an order for delivery only to be contacted a day later with a quotation. The small print on the quotation said my order was being cancelled. After numerous telephone calls and emails trying to find out what was going on I was told that although they offered the product for sale and for delivery on there website that due to the nature of the product it was only available for collection not delivery and was promised by phone that I would be refunded later that day, by email I was told I would be refunded within 24 hours. It has now been several days and still no sign of a refund. Terrible supplier avoid at all costs, worst customer service I have ever experienced!

“Rimmer Bros classic car parts for triumph”

In the process of restoring a classic Triumph I have used Rimmer Bros to source many parts. They provide a comprehensive catalogue and price list and make ordering easy by phone or on-line. Some parts can be found elsewhere for a bit less, but this is the best place for a comprehensive selection of good quality parts, far better than some of the cheap foreign immitations available elsewhere. Well worth a visit for Triumph parts (and some other makes too).
