Purchased car and had brake problems on motorway at 65mph..overheating. After supposedly stripping brakes told us nothing wrong probably stone. Happened again so took it elsewhere who confirmed brakes had definitely not been removed. Problem identified and repaired. The problem should have been dealt under warranty but polar ford hazel grove is a waste of space as regards after sales. I have been in since to look at a Fiesta but they pestered me so much I walked out and purchased elsewhere.

I had to take my Ford van in for some warranty work, they lent me a Fiesta as a courtesy car...all OK so far. When I returned the car they pointed out a one inch scratch on the back of the rear seat (in the boot) and told me I had done it (I hadn't) and that I would have to pay for a new SEAT to be fitted... I told them it was not me, and anyway a bit of black touch up paint was all that would be needed, they said "if that's what you are saying, that is what we will have to believe" I was made to feel like a liar and a criminal. I complained to Ford, and asked for an apology from the dealer, but heard nothing. In addition the staff looked so depressed, the manager looked like somebody had shot his dog and the spares guy had a face like a condemned man. It's a shame as I now have to drive 10 miles to the next dealer (Polar Ford Wilmslow) but they are so much better that it's worth the drive.
