After Buying A Car

I am writing this review after I bought a car 4 months ago. Before buy a vehicle, I meticulously read through the reviews about the seller. And I was sceptic as well. It’s known that people tend to leave feedback when they are dissatisfied, meaning positive experiences often go unmentioned. However, my experience was entirely different. I bought a BMW 5 GT, 2013 132000 miles with the N33 ANK reg numbered. The buying process was a positive experience from start to finish after having an issue.

Despite the MOT not being due, the seller had do an MOT, completed all periodic oıl service, and had even replaced all four tires before handing the car over to me. These details made my buying process very joyful. I decided to leave a review for the seller because I was genuinely satisfied and wanted to share my experience with others.

This week, I encountered a diesel particule filter issue with my vehicle. When I contacted the seller, he expressed his willingness to look into the problem and asked me to bring the car to him. Since the seller is also a mechanic, he personally attended to my car, fixed the issue, and offered me some valuable driving tips.

The main takeaway here is that the seller truly makes an effort to do his best. I have seen firsthand that they will go out of their way to assist you with any problems you might encounter.You are not just buying a quality car; you are also getting after-sales support.

Be very careful, I had an offer accepted on a car over 10 days ago. They have dragged their feet, promising completion dates that never came and finally started ignoring my communication attempts. They promised delivery of vehicle within 3 days of acceptance, I am now over £100 out of pocket due to extra insurance i've had to take out on old car which will only increase as I was informed off the finance company they have sold the car to a trade dealer 10 days after agreeing to sell to me. Again they are ignoring my calls on this. JOKE OF A COMPANY AVOID

EVOQUE CARS/ MOTORS IN GOOSTREY/CRANAGE - Taken to court

We bought a Mercedes R Class in January 2016 from Evoque Cars, Goostrey (now trying to trade on eBay as Evoque Motors in Cranage) with a 3 month comprehensive warranty. After a month the gearbox developed a fault & Evoque Cars refused to repair it under the terms of the warranty. We paid for the costly repair (£1161) & took Evoque Cars to the Small Claims Court to recover this money. In October 2016, the judge awarded us full costs plus interest & court fees.

Reported to Trading Standards. It was a horrendous experience dealing with Evoque Cars, Goostrey & we would never buy a car again from them. I wish I had researched this company more thoroughly as there are plenty of bad reviews on line that show that Evqoue Cars do not honour the warranty.

Your previous response above stated that you are appealing the judgement yet your latest reply says you have never had any Court papers…….................

A few more facts:

• The signed statement of defence (dated 21/07/16) from Evoque Cars was received by the Court on 22/07/16.

• Our legal documents were delivered to the registered business address of Evoque Cars at Bank House, Market Square, Congleton on 13/09/16. The documents were sent registered delivery and we have signed proof of delivery from Royal Mail.

• On the same day, Royal Mail attempted to deliver an identical bundle of legal documents to Evoque Cars Unit 4, Cranage Business park, Goostrey Lane, Goostrey. These were returned as addressee gone away.

• On 07/10/16 Evoque Cars changed the registered business address at Companies House from Bank House, Congleton to Unit 4 Cranage Business Park.

• At the court hearing your “business address” was discussed with the Judge and we were informed that we had done all that was expected legally.

You should consider contacting your legal team or Crewe County Court for further clarification. The claim should have been settled by 4th November. We are now actively pursuing the recovery of this debt.

1. The new Director of Evoque Cars was appointed on 31/05/16, which was well in advance of any court papers being issued to their registered business address.

2. No additional evidence was supplied by Evoque Cars to the Court

3. No-one from Evoque Cars attended Court

4. No appeal was lodged by Evoque Cars

5. Evoque Cars Ltd was instructed to pay the amount of the Judgement by 4/11/16

6. Payment has not been received from Evoque Cars so we are now taking further steps to recover the money through the High Court.

HI RICHARD WILSON HERE THE OWNER AND DIRECTOR OF EVOQUE CARS ONE NEEDS TO UNDERSTAND THAT WHEN ONE PURCHASES A USED VEHICLE THEY NEED TO PROVIDE CRYSTAL CLEAR EVIDENCE THAT THE FAULT WITH THERE VEHICLE IS GENUINE. I WAS NOT INVOLVED WITH THE SALE AND DEALINGS ON THE R CLASS MERCEDES BUT WHAT I AM AWARE OF THAT AN APPEAL IS IN MOTION AND THUS WE ARE CONFIDENT OF A SUCCESSFUL OUT COME THUS WATCH THIS SPACE

Worst Experience Ever

Bought older 2lt mondeo 3/8/15, all was fine for exactly 25 days! Car lost power and went into limp mode, had a diagnostic done, it's the turbo. I bought this car for towing! As a new turbo would cost far too much I got intouch with evoque, to see if they would at least sort a turbo clean, guess what, absolutely not, say its just normal wear etc. seems very strange to only last 25 days. Absolute rip off merchants and I wouldn't send my worst enemy there. Avoid at all costs because believe me, it will cost you to go there, a lot in repair fees.

Just bought on the 7th July a Great Audi A6 3.0 TDI what a great car and super customer support from these guys, the Audi came with a full service and four new tyres as part of the deal, a real great outfit to rival and probibly beat the big car supermarkets on quality and service.

Worst Experience Ever!

Not overly sure what to write here as I'm sure the garage manager)will just write a load of rubbish below. All I will say is this garage is abusive, nasty and pathetic. The after service is nothing but upsetting and if you tell the so call manager you have an issue you will get a load of abuse and various personal comments. But like I said a comeback comment will shortly follow and or a random "amazing" review will be posted but someone who uses the same expressions as the manager  seems to use in his nasty messages and emails. avoid at all costs.

Fantastic Garage

Hi all I bought a great Renault Megane 1.5 DCi TOM TOM in a 10 plate in early March 2015. And what a great car buying experience, I was getting the train down from Cumbria and did arrange a Taxi from Knutsford to Goostrey (£15.00) but the owners friend kindly picked ME up no problem , Arrived at a busy garage with other customers there and test drive and bought the car, in all very happy nice kind people great value DONE, I would highly recommend this garage to friends and family as cars all described well and it even had a 100 miles to go in the tank ;)

A load of customers? The garage has no indoor office and only 1 member of staff so if he was picking you up how was it full of customers? The gates are locked when the 1 member of staff leaves the site.... Yet another review written by the owner
