Toshiba 40TL868B Full HD 40" LED 3D TV

The Toshiba 40TL868B Full HD 40" LED 3D TV is the newest genre of televisions to hit the shelves of electrical stores both real and virtual. It features the newest technology to improve the television viewing experience - 3D. Most people have seen at least one 3D film at the cinemas so imagine the luxury of being able to view pictures popping out of the screen on a daily basis. You will need to have a pair of Toshiba viewing glasses to see the results, one pair is included in the box, extra pairs will cost about £65.

The screen is an impressive 40 inches and has the full high definition resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels - required to get the impressive 3D pictures. The Toshiba 40TL868B Full HD 40" LED 3D TV features many of Toshiba’s impressive tools - including 3D active shutter solution technology as well as being WiFi capable. To get the WiFi features does mean purchasing yet another extra in the form of a USB dongle - but again it greatly increases the functionality of the television and means you can take full advantage of all internet television. If you miss a program, simply hop over to iPlayer and instead of crowding around a small laptop screen sit back and enjoy the replay your favourite show in full size.

Checking in with users on Idealo, the general consensus is the sound quality is not perhaps the best - the speakers are on the rear of the screen and the overall casing is not that deep so Toshiba haven’t left themselves a great space to fill with wattage power - however do remember that for the money this is a high spec television packed with plenty of excellent features - a small gripe is par for the course.
