Our job started in May 23. They require payment 90% payment for the order placement and order the doors to be manufactured and started of installation. 6 months later the job is not finished we are waiting for doors and no committment on when the work can finish. Communications is poor. When they do respond they say they will come next week. They just don't care. Nice designs but I don't recommend them or don't risk your money.

Overall I give Metro Wardrobes a 5* service for all of their efforts and rewarding work!

Luci my designer and Kinjal the fitter in particular were the most helpful and reassuring throughout the process of getting my fitted furniture installed from start to finish. Even though there were some slippery patches and it took a couple of days more than expected for the work to be done, it was done to my full satisfaction which I am very thankful to the entire team for. I highly recommend this company if you want fitted furniture installed at competitive price with no mess or fuss! Keep up the good work :)

I’ve been a customer of Metro on a number of occasions.

Recently I purchased wadrobes for my sons bedroom. Manish the designer was extremely helpful in planning the layout of the wardrobes with many options for us to choose from.

The drawings were further refined using computer imaging to show the colour and layout of the wardrobes in the room space.

We went ahead with the deposit and the fitting date was scheduled as per our request.

The fitters arrived in a timely fashion and commenced in work non-stop for two days - completing the work to a very high standard. The fitters - were outstanding! They worked with me closely during the day to ensure any doubts were clarified and I was happy throughout the fitting process.

A massive well done to the team and the owner for a fantastic product and experience!

Really it's an amazing taking service from you. Amazing cooperation. Customer service is great and awesome. Anyone can take service as it's a very good experience.

They had 2 months time to manufacture the whole house furniture, managed to drop off some before the lockdown in March, put them all up afterwards in April. From April until now, it's either they do not have the parts or the supplier furlough which cannot make the parts. The owner keeps saying I will tell you tomorrow, next week, etc etc. Right now I have furniture with not match colours, worktop with no stone, every single furniture are half done, etc. I am starting to believe this is a trick / C O N. Looking for legal advice now. We are talking a £40K contract here, So I hope the owner sees this and sort things out right away as well as any potential customer. Good luck

I have paid a deposit of 1250 expecting my wardrobe will be manufactured in 3 weeks time on 23/09/20.

I have had a person to check my measurements at my home next day.

I have phoned my manager several times then in order to have a final plan to manufacture my simple wardrobe and send a sketch with my measurements.

All I have had so far is a promise to send me an email tomorrow/ in 20 minutes time and etc.

I had some bedroom wardrobes installed back in Feb. Initially all was fine, installed on time and looking good. A few months later a problem arose with the built in lights, essentially the switch to turn them on/off wasn’t working. After some back and forth someone came over to have a look, confirmed it needed replacing and promised to be in touch.

Since then, nearly two months ago, pretty much nothing. Emails are ignored, promised call backs once someone has looked into it never happen and I can’t even find out what make the lights are to just buy it myself to fix it. So I have a brand new wardrobe with lights I can’t use. Makes the “10 year guarantee” where they promise to rectify things within 5 weeks a bit of a nonsense.

For the sake of not replacing a faulty switch they’ve lost at least 2 other jobs from me!

The service started well, and the actual wardrobes are fine but:

the fitters cancelled the fitting appointment on the morning of the fitting

were then 6 hours late for next fitting

When they eventually arrived the lead fitter was so threatening and rude to me that I actually had to ask him to leave my home. I had informed the company I would not be able to move my bed out of the room during the fitting. When they came to fit I was accused of lying and was spoken to in such as aggressive way that I felt threatened. This attitude continued with other staff members.

What a shame that a company can have such appalling customer service. Even if the product was satisfactory, I could in no way recommend them.
