Beats By Dr Dre Pill 2.0 Portable Wireless Speaker

Where do I begin, I bought a Beats Pill 2 as a Christmas present for my daughter in November. It  was opened by her on Christmas morning only to find it was dead, it wouldn't charge, turn on....nothing. We took back to Currys who refused to exchange it as it was over the 21 days they allow. So this very expensive speaker had to be repaired. It was returned to the store 3 weeks later and my wife took time off work to collect it. When we took it out to use, it was again dead. We thought it may need charging, which it shouldn't as they would of had to charge it when they did the repair but I couldn't believe it could be broken. But after 3 hours plugged in, it was still dead. Another day off work to return it to Currys only to be told the same thing, no refund, no exchange and yet another 2-3 week wait for another repair on a brand new item. This is apparently Apple's procedure and they won't do anything as far as customer service is concerned. A senior manager at Beats offered no help or customer service other than the bare minimum which he seemed to think I should be grateful for. So I'm left with no refund, £135 out of pocket for the purchase plus time off work for what will be 4 trips to Currys and an unhappy daughter who can't understand why Santa would give her broken presents twice. Thanks Beats, never again will I buy from you or Currys.
