I telephoned Vintage Drum Center in search of somewhat difficult to find high-quality 18-inch, 8-hole, die cast hoops for a vintage drum restoration project. After a very pleasant conversation with the proprietor in which we discussed product details and cost considerations, he quickly contacted me with the news that he had identified a source for my desired hoops. I purchased two of these hoops from VDC, with an arrangement for the distributor to drop ship them directly to me. Two days later (that's fast!), the hoops arrived well-packaged and in perfect condition. They are precisely what I was seeking, and their quality was indeed first-rate.
