Woburn Safari Park has plenty to offer. When you are touring, it is but natural to try and experience and see as much as you can in a country and a city. Since I have always loved nature, I always go for safaris and zoos. Woburn Safari Park is not a disappointment.
Close Encounter
Although we didn't get to touch exotic animals, we were able to see enough. We rode a 4x4 to go around the park. It was nice to see animals that are able to roam around their natural habitat freely. The whole point of going to see them is to get a taste of their life. A zoo cages them, Woburn respects the animals' world.
We were given enough time during stops to watch the animals go about their business. We were given time to take photos. We were also given enough information on what we are looking at.
Endangered Species
There were a lot of animals to see but I didn't see a lot of endangered species. We were told there are some roaming around but seeing them is also a function of luck. We can only hope they show up.
Price
My primary concern is the price. I think it is a good experience but not better than African Safari and they are almost the same price.
However, if you are a nature tripper and you happen to be in the city, I'd recommend this one any given Sunday.
