Fantastic experience had by all

On 09/07/11 My Mother, Bridesmaid, Chief Bridesmaid and I had an appointment at Caroline Castigliano in Guildford. We had been to a very average store before hand so the comparision was easy to make. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with a glass of wine each and the chance to browse the collection on our own. After 10 mins or so we were introduced to Yvonne who would be helping us. Yvonne spent time asking about my wedding plans and any pre-concieved ideas that I had about my dress or other dresses that I had tried elsewhere. We then went along the collection together and Yvonne suggested a few gowns that she felt might suit me and the description I had given to her earlier about my wedding.
We chose 5 gowns to initially try.
Yvonne spent time ensuring that each dress I put on was styled perfectly before revealing me to my guests. As the dresses didnt fit me they used a whole 'box of tricks' to ensure the dress looked like it fit ie- lots of pins and extra pieces of matching fabric etc the efforts they made were over and above other service we had recieved elsewhere.
The very first gown that Yvonne suggetsed was 'Legacy', I loved it. We then went on to try a couple of others which were all beautiful gowns, Yvonne then suggested that I tried Legacy on for a second time. We then tried a couple more dresses on as Yvonne wanted to make sure that I had tried on a range of gowns, again each dress I tried on was beautiful but I had fallen for Legacy. Yvonne then insisted I tried on my favourite for a third time. It was such a good idea as each time I put the dress on I loved it more.
Yvonne seemed to be just as excited as I was with finding my perfect dress and quickly rushed off to refresh my glass of wine and allow my guests to take photos. We were left alone for 10 mins to enjoy our wine and for me to float around in my dress, Heaven.
At no point was I pressured into buying the dress then and there.
I had an amazing time, we were there for about 2.5 hours in total and were never made to feel rushed.
I cant wait to go back for my measurements and then the final fittings.
I would suggest that if you can afford the dresses (they were at the very, very top of my affordability) that all brides should go and have the experience.
