All Fine For Me!

I see others had bad experiences and not to dismiss those, but to give some balance I’ll share mine. Placed order, all nice and easy, good arrived quickly, courier was good and the prices were the best available, which I why I was happy to take a chance. I returned one of the items (used takes service to be on the safe side) and the refund was processed pretty quick and without my having to chase it up, so all in all I’m very satisfied and would shop here again.

Absymal Service.v Slow Delivery And Do Not Reply To Emails

Ordered from these as they had the colour I wanted.

Having ordered through their website I received an email very quickly from them saying the payment had not gone through so could I pay £40+ again through paypal. My order was £14 which they did acknowledge.

After a few days I had received no despatch confirmation or my order. I emailed them 3 times but got no replies at all.

Eventually the order did arrive.

Clearly as other reviews have stated they are quick to try and get your money but after that there is zero customer service-will never buy again from here.

There's plenty of GOOD bike shops out there that deserve our business

Terrible Service

I was intending to purchase some new levers and was in a bit of a hurry so emailed before hand to check they had them in stock and could send straight away to which they answered yes. 5 days later and no email updates and they had not arrived so I started calling and sending emails. Never got any sort of a response and no answer on telephone. 11 days have now gone by without a reply, luckily I went through paypal so hope to get my £125 back. I'm shocked that a company would act like this!

Little Willingness To Help Customers, Overcharging.

I begrudgingly purchased a Specialized road bike from Mail Order Cycles. I'd put down a deposit on a 2011 Allez Elite that was priced at £800. After looking around online i discovered that Evans had sold this bike for £689 and the 2012 version was widely available at £800. Assuming that a customer focussed friendly local bike shop would be willing to come down on price slightly i spoke to the store owner. I've never come across such a rude, un-customer serviced focussed silly little man in my life. In laymans terms he knew he had one of the last of these bikes in stock, sat there and bad mouthed other bike shops for dropping their prices. I essential felt like i was being ripped off by this rude little man, he insisted that the 2012 version wasn't as good as the 2011 (why Specialized would make a worse newer version of the same bike i have no idea) and that his power trip of decision making was final. It's a bit of a shame really as I was looking forward to having a local store that I could buy accessories from and turn to for advice and upgrades but i'd rather support a friendlier outfit without an attitude problem. Since this i've spoken to some other cyclists in my area and they have reported similar experienced.

Spend you money somewhere else, these guys are simply focussed in selling bikes online for maximum profit and minimal effort.

Bike Received Was Different To One Shown On Websit

bike received was different to one shown on website but according to their T&C's this is acceptable. Also they deducted more money from our account for failed delivery even though we picked up bike ourselves from delivery depot. after we complained they changed their T&C's to cover themselves. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!will probably be on BBC's Watchdog soon.

if they do not like what you are saying they stop replying to your emails also they are impossible to reach by phone. AVOID!!!

Do Not Buy From Mail Order Cycles! I Bo

DO NOT BUY FROM MAIL ORDER CYCLES!

i bought from them as they seemed cheap in comparison to other retailers however i would have happily paid more to avoid them had I known what they are like.

They have no understanding of cumstomer serivce, they rarely answer their phone and when they do they are incredibly rude. They only respond to emails or phone calls for a few hours a day and for some bizarre reason won't work on Mondays!?

After they had made errors with my delivery and asked them to pay for a saturday delivery they said no, why should we? In a nutshell, because of them my girlfriend is not getting her christmas present till January.

Do not use them! Only after buying from them did I discover other very bad online reviews about them, I hope your reading this before you buy.

Mail Order Cycles Www.mailordercycles.co.uk Avoid

Mail Order Cycles www.mailordercycles.co.uk avoid this company like the plague.

This unreliable company cooperates with Amtrak delivery service ( www.amtrak.co.uk ) offering 'free delivery' with your bike on the arranged day.

Having waited all the day round I didn't get my consignment, although on the tracking internet tool at the end of the day the status had changed from 'with driver' to 'failed delivery attempt'. And then, calling the company to find what's going on, I heard that I'd missed the parcel and would have to pay for another attempt! And if not, the bike would get back to them and I'd be charged for this shipping and also restocking fee (about £50 in toto). The manager, when I asked her to solve the situation, was rude and inconsiderate towards me: 'There are many unfair things in live!' - she said and 'According to my records you missed the delivery'. So they value more they data-base records than customers? Still don't have my bike although they have my money. Don't risk, at least as long as they haven't changed the middleman delivery company - Amtrak - and the manager of Mail Order Cycles is the same.
