Freedom Outdoors name and address have changed, after not been told this i wasted a day trying to find them. when i arrived at their "shop" i was greeted by nothing more than a skip and an empty building? their customer serivce is poor to say the least. i would not buy from this company. very dodgy indeed.

Freedom Outdoors Is One Of Those Sites We All Wish
Freedom Outdoors is one of those sites we all wish we could buy from. If an item is out of stock they will let you know and offer an alternative. If you don't want the alternative at least they tried. I have purchased many item some in stock some not. When i have ordered anytime before 4pm i have recieved the items next day can't fault these people at all. Would recommend to anyone at all.

Overall an excellent service, I would just prefer it if they held more stock.

Ok, This Is Just One Person's Point Of View About
Ok, this is just one person's point of view about Freedom Outdoors - I may have caught the company on a bad day but I feel I had a really bad experience with them. I wanted a tent and carefully looked at reviews for not only the tent, but also the sellers of the tent as there was quite a bit of variation on the price. The cheapest stockist of the tent had had a bad review (accepted payment even though the item wasn't in stock), so I went with Freedom Outdoors, who didn't have such a bad review.The website looked pretty good, so I was reassured. They debited the payment smoothly enough. But after a few days I started to wonder where the item was - so I sent them an email. I received no reply. I waited a few more days, and called them up. I was then told that the item was out of stock, and that I could either cancel my order or wait for them to order it in. What cheek! I received no reply to my original email, no apology for not getting in touch with me, no apology for not mentioning that it was out of stock on the website.I said 'fine, please send it to me when you have it' and was told that it would arrive four working days later. A full week later I called up and asked where it was, and was told that the item was in germany and would be sent over to the uk soon. Again, I received no apology or attempt to contact me. Would the item be sent directly to me from Germany? Apparently not.So, another week passes and I try again. Ah, it's still in germany. The company's saving grace was that head office cancelled my payment promptly - though I'll definitely check my bank statements to check they've delivered on this!All in all I had to call them about 8 times - mostly to ask why the item had missed its delivery date yet again.As I said, the website does seem good and this whole sorry incident may be quite rare. But the seemingly EXCEPTIONALLY poor communication they gave me (not saying the item wasn't in stock on the website; no reply to email received; missing their assurances of delivery and not contacting me in advance/apologising) in my opinion suggest that the company does need to sort a few things out at least.

My Online Order Was Not In Stock And I Was Not Inf
My online order was not in stock and I was not informed of this at the time of ordering. I had to call three days later to find out stock was not available and they were not willing to do me any discounts (except maybe £5.00 off retail).

I Ordered A Vaude Hogan Xt Tent From Freedom Outdo
i ordered a Vaude Hogan XT tent from Freedom Outdoors, i wanted some information so i rang their number and the lady on the phone was very helpful indeed, she answered all my questions and told me that if i was not entirely happy with my purchase i could return it for a full refund. The tent was exactly what i needed and i would definitely shop with Freedom Outdoors in the future.

After Trying To Get Hold Of A Rab Kit Bag And Havi
After trying to get hold of a Rab kit bag and having no luck I gave Freedom outdoors a call.
I found the sales staff to be very helpful.
Although they didnt have the item instock they contacted Rab direct and had the item dispached to me direct by next day delivery.
I found this site to have a good team with reguard to customer service.

I Ordered And Paid For A 1.5l Sigg Bottle From Fre
I ordered and paid for a 1.5L Sigg bottle from Freedom Outdoors but I received a 1.0L bottle. I sent it back by first class recorded delivery which I paid for myself. Freedom Outdoors refunded the purchase price of the bottle but have not refunded the cost of sending the bottle back, so far.
Since this review was written I have received a refund of my postage.
