Worst Company Ever

WORST COMPANY EVER. Since Brexit ALL enlish companies dont care about customer service which is is law in EU. NEVER buy from ANY english companies but buy in EU countries. You dont want to belong to EU, Fukk you all then, we keep our money and spend it on serious companies in EU.

Refund Not Paid

I returned sandals to Field & Trek 7 weeks ago as they were not the colour shoe I ordered. I have had two emails from them on 17th and 18th November one saying they would be replaced and the other saying I would not be charged. I have since sent 4 emails to them to say I have been charged and I haven't received a replacement but have had no reply. Needless to say I am very angry.

Hopeless Company, Hopeless Courier

I ordered some sandals for my holiday, and the quoted 3-5 days delivery would get them to me in time. After receiving no despatch information, I contacted the company and was advised they were waiting for the courier and would be here in a couple of days. Yesterday, a day later, they were still shown as awaiting courier on my account, so I emailed again. No reply, but then an email came from the courier "delivery today or tomorrow". I sent a text asking for no delivery today because I was out, but it was delivered anyway while I was out. I knew because the courier sent a text to me (he had my number because I'd sent him a text saying no delivery today!). I hope he was pleased with himself.

The sandals arrived and are faulty. The tissue and card inserts were loose in the box so they had probably been tried on. Clearly, this company thinks it's ok to sell goods they know are faulty.

Oh, I can send them back, pay recorded delivery, and wait for them to refund me, probably less their postal charges and my return costs.

I'm getting them glued because I don't want to deal with these people again.

Ruined Weekend

Ordered a tent for a family trip away for the bank holiday weekend. Booked a camp site and waited in all day for the tent which we'd paid for next day delivery on. Received emails saying all was on track for its arrival only for it never to turn up. We were left with two very disappointed little girls who were looking forward to a trip to the coast in the new tent . Field and trek blamed the courier. The courier confirmed they had never received the item. Funny enough by that time the tent was no longer available on their website or any of their sister sites! No one let us know the tent wasn't coming. To add to the insult, having cancelled the order, field and trek refuse to issue a refund until they get the tent back from their courier despite us never having received it. I won't be using the company again and certainly wouldn't recommend them.

Strongly Recommend, Not To Purchase,from This Crowd !

i purchased a pair of 'brasher' leather walking boots, and one of the 'eyelets' has broken off already, on one of the boots,....(after a week) Now,i am having a load of hassle, trying to negotiate, a replacement pair!,.....I also paid for 'next day' delivery, which wasnt 'honoured ,either (took two days, too receive) (this company also dont provide, a 'contact' telephone number,for customers, which is rather strange ??)

Goods Faulty

These goods were faulty on arrival. I emailed field and trek for prepaid label to return and they came back next day asking for photos. I emailed straight back to say fault could only be felt and not seen -Spikey bobbles on inside sole. I have not heard back from them since. I have now sent another four emails!,

Appalling Customer Service

No phone numbers direct to shops. Returns documentation advises to send returns via Registered Post but Post Office charge £11 for this service. Tried to ring Customer Service to discuss and complain about this and couldn't get through. Cheaper therefore to use eg Cotswold walking shops - at least you won't have to pay huge postal charges for exchanges and returns. Emailed company and was told could be up to 5 days before they dealt with query. Meanwhile to get refund you have to return within 14 days so the clock is ticking..

Will never use online service again. Had I known I'd have this problem I would never have used them.

Staff Attitude

On Sunday 20th July my wife and I were strolling along the pavement in Bridge Street, Chester when we were startled and forced to step aside for

a large man on a bicycle forcibly riding amongst the pedestrians. Several

people commented to us about his behaviour and upon turning to watch him

depart we noted that he turned into the doorway of Trek and Field and appeared to be 'opening up' the store. I was going to remonstrate with him but taking into account his size and the fact that he appeared to already be glaring at us I decided that common sense was the better part of valour.

Perhaps he was having a bad day but if his approach to working in your store is akin to his social attitude then heaven help your customers.

Nicht Zu Empfehlen ! Unseriös !

Ich habe bei Field & Trek Wanderschuhe bestellt und bekam nach der Zahlung über PayPal eine mail, das das Paket angeblich nicht zugestellt werden konnte. Die Sendungsverfolgung zeigte aber, das gar kein Paket geschickt worden war. Mehrere Versuche per mail eine Kontaktaufnahme zu erreichen blieben unbeantwortet. PayPal hat meine Kosten erstattet.

Mein Rat: Besser nicht probieren.

Terrible Customer Support

After ordering 2 things and receiving one of them damaged, I was told by Fieldandtrek Customer Support to return only the damaged one and was assured that all my shipping costs will be covered. However, instead of exchange (I was also assured to get a new item by the Customer Support) I got a refund, which I wasn't interested in at all in the first place and email, confirming the refund for return delivery costs - surprise surprise, no refund for none shipping costs reached my account! The customer service is absolutely outrageous, misinforming and misleading, as now they refuse to pay for my original shipping costs (again - I've sent only one of the items back, hoping for the exchange, otherwise, I would have sent the entire order back to them) and pretending not to see the part of missing RETURN COSTS in the emails I've sent to them.

This is the first time in my life I experienced such rude, misinforming and misleading customer handling as well as way too long their response time - two emails per week.

I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, even though they have some decent prices for the quality goods. I'd rather pay some GBP extra, but receive proper customer support.
