Ordered a pair of boots from TheBootFits for almost £100, they never arrived. Got fobbed off until it was too late to reclaim money through PayPal. Went through small claims court. Avoid like the plague.

I ordered 2 pairs of boots thebootfits.com which took 3 months to arrive when they did only 1 pair arrived which were the wrong size. I sent them back for a refund and now another 3 months on I am still waiting for my refund!!

Ordered Boots From Thebootfits Which Arrived. Were
Ordered boots from TheBootFits which arrived. Were too big so sent them back recorded delivery for a refund as instructed. Goods were received and signed for 02/09/08. I have since sent a letter recorded which was signed for 04/10/08. All letters sent after this have come back to be stating 'gone away'. Therefore I suspect they are no longer trading from the address stated on their website. I have still not received my refund yet.

I paid for my boots on October 31 and have yet to receive them. I too have sent several e mails and have left several messages but to no avail. I will shortly be starting procedures for recompense through PayPal
Their Company Website Is Very Polished And I Belie
Their company website is very polished and I believe this fact and only being able to pay online via 'paypal' gave me a misleading idea about the quality of service I would receive. This company returned to me, marked 'gone away' a Special Delivery Formal refund request made under the 'distance selling regulations 2000' from the address as listed on their website. My experience is that I did not receive any return telephone calls or return email requests for refunds.

I ordered a pair of boots from TheBootFits on 18 nov (still i am waiting for them). I did not receive any confirmation email of my order. the only email i received was from paypal confirming that £57 has been debited on my account and was transferred to thebootfits.com. I emailed them several times and did not receive any answer. Called the number on the website and on the paypal invoice and left messages but received no reply. So i decided to google search reviews for this company and I found this site. I opened paypal dispute today.

I Ordered My Boots In September Which I Expected W
I ordered my boots in September which I expected within 7 days as stated on their website. I was then advised they were out of stock and were waiting on a delivery but as they had taken 2 weeks to let me know would do a bespoke pair for the same price. I have been told over the last 4 weeks that they will arrive this week, it's now nearly 2 months later and I still havent got my boots. I did just manage to speak to someone on a number which I found on another site which I think is actually his home number and he has promised to call me back tomorrow....am not going to hold my breath

I Have Never Received My Boots From Www.thebootfit
I have never received my boots from www.thebootfits.com despite having the money debited from my account. I have written endless emails and have left answerphone messages - but have never received any response as yet. On the one occasion I did manage to get through I was told that my boots were in stock and would be sent to me the next day but they never arrived. I am in the process of trying to get a refund but won't hold my breath!

I have called the number on the website but have received no answer or reply to any voicemails yet. PayPal have now received a Special Delivery tracking number from thebootfits in response to my claim. Funnily enough, for the past 2 days I can't seem to track this number online, nor have I received a delivery yet...

I Feel I Have Had A Really Poor Experience With Th
I feel I have had a really poor experience with TheBootFits. I ordered a pair of boots from thebootfits.com back in July and, as I received no confirmation of my order and no boots, presumed the order hadn't gone through and ordered another two pairs in mid August.
I have subsequently discovered that I have been charged for all three pairs of boots but none have arrived yet. I have called and emailed to complain but have received no reply as of yet.
I have tried to phone them again today but the phone number does not seem to be in service. I have now escalated the dispute I had already registered with Paypal (you have to do this within 45 days of the payment being made) to a claim and have also contacted my bank who say they will also try and help me get my money back.
