Best Online Live Supplies.....ever.
Well, the title says it all.
I ordered 3 types of live foods after being constantly disappointed with the quality at my 2 local pet shops. In these shops, even on delivery day you get more dead than alive.
After ordering I was concerned about not being home to receive the goods so I emailed livefoods.co.uk and had a reply straight away.
A day after ordering I was really impressed when my little parcel arrived.
The live food was in tip top condition, well packaged and above all very much alive.
So, save yourself a trip to the big named pet shop and being disappointed. Treat your pets to some good quality grub.

Just Got To Say These Guys Are Really Great
I can't keep receiving such great quality bugs and fantastic service without saying a massive thank you to you guys.
It always amazes me just how many huge fat healthy locusts there are in each bag, much bigger than other suppliers I have tried in the past and sometimes almost double the stated quantity!
I ordered my locusts again last week as usual but they were held up in the post over the weekend and the parcel got crushed a bit by Royal Mail probably because of the extra Xmas post. Anyhow around 20 in one of the bags were crushed so I emailed their sales team about it, not asking for a replacement or anything but just to let them know in case they could claim for it. Then to my complete surprise a whole new bag arrived on my doorstep today. How is that for great service, I would (and do) recommend Livefood UK Ltd. to anyone.

Fantastic Quality Goods And Service!
I've ordered many times and the livefood always arrives on time and all great quality. Definitely much fresher, and better for my lizzies, than the half dead stuff you get in the pet shops!
The customer service is exceptional, the staff are very knowledgable about the welfare and how to keep most reptiles and always happy to give advice.
My orders always arrive on time which is a lot more than can be said about some mail order companies around!
I would definitely reccommend this company to everybody and will continue to order for as long as I have my reptiles!

Well what can I say I always order at different times of the day and always receive locust next day. They are packed well and reach me in great condition. There prices have actually decreased instead of increased which together wit the quality of insects and delivery makes them my number 1 supplier and won't change them. You can even ring them direct and get advice over the phone. 1st class service if carlsberg made a insect dealer this would be the one !

Great Quality Fresh Live Bugs & Very Helpful Friendly Staff
I have been using Livefood Uk Ltd for about 3 years and have always been very happy with the quaility and quantity of livefood delivered.
The only 1 time there was a problem was during the really cold spell last winter but livefood uk replaced all my food with no quibble even though they had put up a temporary warning that during the extreme cold weather that all live insects would be sent at own risk, I was happy to take that risk but they replaced my food anyway. You can't beat that for looking after your customers.

Awful Customer Service & Care!
I have used Livefoods UK many times in the past and have found that as long as there are no problems with your order then they are a good, fair priced company to use to buy products for your reptiles, however the problems with them start as soon as you have any issue with an order / item. This is my most recent gripe with them - I will no longer be using the company after this!
After ordering a Habistat Dimmerstat a month ago along with some other foods etc. it all turned up on time, however the thermostat did not work once plugged in. I emailed Livefoods to ask what I should do. I was told to try changing the fuse and adjust the dial to full and if it didn't work then to return the item for a replacement. I went and bought a new pack of fuses and ended up trying 2 new ones and it still wouldn't work so I sent the item back as instructed. Obviously this cost money to pack and return, I then received quite a blunt email telling me that it did work and I had obviously not checked it properly. I explained how I had checked it several times, and asked for a refund/replacement and was told that to get the unit sent back to me I would have to pay another £3. I reluctantly did this as it was needed by my chameleon to regulate his temperatures accurately. I then proceeded to email them explaining that I was really unhappy with the service and that I had to pay out yet more money to get the item sent back to me.
The reply I received to this email truly shocked me. I cannot believe a company who are supposed to be professional would send such a reply! I am also shocked that they seem to think it is okay to ask customers for money they do not need, because they feel you may not have followed their instructions (even though I had!).

I am sorry you feel this way, and had the unit been faulty in ANY way (including a faulty fuse) then of course we would have replaced it and refunded your return postage costs, this is something we do as a matter of course.
I did go to great lengths to get you to fully check the rest of your wiring before sending this back as often it turns out that the customer has a problem with and extension lead or the wiring to the light or heater.
The fact that you sent the unit back with a blown fuse in it shows me that you did not fully check as per my instructions and seems very likely that you took a blown fuse from another plug (thinking it was a good fuse) and fitted it in the thermostat in the place of a perfectly good fuse.
I really am not bothered about the £3 it was just a matter of principal that despite the amount of time I had taken explaining to you how to check the unit properly you failed to do so.
I will refund your £3.00 now

The Food Is Not Always Good Hi Everyone, Well
THE FOOD IS NOT ALWAYS GOOD
Hi everyone, well, I spent 5 years buying stuff from livefood.co.uk. My partner and I spent thousands of pounds buying equipment and other things for our large collection. We used to buy our frozen rodents there before they stopped selling them. The quality of the mice was not very good. Sometimes the smell of them was enough to put off my corn snakes. Then, after a complaint, I found out (by the website) that they were coming all the way from America. Not a surprise then! Good news, they do not sell frozen rodents any more. The only thing I kept on buying were live insects. Indeed, when you buy live insects from them, you often get them on the following day. I used to buy (1/2) bags of locusts. But after a few times, I stopped doing it. They were sending me bags of rotten locusts. They went straight to the bin. So I decided to buy tubs instead. In other words, the quality of the food is not always very good.
POOR TRADING STANDARDS
I do not know if you have noticed their weather warning sign saying that if you buy livefood "it is at your own risk" (do they mean that you can't get a refund? ). Anyway, they do not replace orders. The problem is that You have to scroll down to see the sign. Why is it a problem? Well, very simply because when you buy livefood, you do not need to scroll down at all. You stay on top and you click "live food" on the left. In other words you miss the sign. In fact, they place the sign where they know you won't see it, so that they can still sell and cover their back at your expense. They do not take responsability when something goes wrong with your parcel. I had a bit of fight to move that sign up. They moved it slightly so you can see a little bit of it.
Not enough, I think! I do not like the way they treat you when something goes wrong. I buy my insects elsewhere now.
