Abismal Service

I have been a long standing customer of orange for over ten years & decided to change provider to 3. however I was given a pac number to keep my number then orange deleted my number & after many frustrating request & an operator hanging up on me they managed to block my transfer. I will never use Orange again as they are rude & cruelly destroyed my contact number. THEY WILL ONLY BE HELPFULL TO YOU IF YOU REMAIN A CUSTOMER !!!

It's Like Playing Snakes And Ladders.

As a PAYG customer for years I got sick of mithering sales texts and uncompetitive rates. When I'd got a PAC code, the telesales calls started and I got more attention than when I'd complained about a problem. To stop them took over half an hour, ringing the numbers they give and following all the voice prompts only to be the person works for T mobile not Orange. Go back to the start and ring another (mobile rate) number. When you do get through on that one, they won't help because they're contract and you're PAYG. Go back to the start and ring another number. Throw a six and go elsewhere!

at the same time i gave him £10 top top it up

later that evening went to make a phone call

no credit rung orange.customer services said thay would raise a billing enquiry and it would be sorted in 24hrs also the my simm was not on the dolphin plan the sales rep in store had not done it he had only activated the simm

next day no credit added/no data/texts

went into the store the same sales rep said there was nothing he could do in store but said he would ring them.could not get it sorted then he said he would do it first thing the next morning and ring me

next day no credit/no data/texts

so rung them at 5pm that day got the same sales rep

he did not ring back

rung orange myself told it was not sorted it but would be sorted that day

next day no credit/no data/no texts

whent back into the store same sales rep again "asked him why he had not rung me back he said he had not rung me back as there was a que outside the door again and that customer in store took priority. asked to speek to the manager he whent through the back and came back and said the manager would see me in about half an hour or so as she was busy

we here the talking and i told him that i was going to complain

that i was getting a poor services of him and orange

next thing the manger appears and tells me to leave the store or she was going to call security

as i had raised my voice and that i had done so the the day before

Leave Well Alone

Mobile-didn't work from day 1

Broadband- has worked for less than 12 hours in 3 months

Home phone-intermittent faults.

Appalling service-suggest avoid their cheap deals, they work out really expensive when nothing works. Customer service no help at all.

Makes BT look superb

From Bad To Worse......

Over the last 2 weeks I have been getting txt's from T-mobile (now part of EE), giving great offers on Iphone 5. So after being with orange for over 10 years & my contract is due within 4 months I thought I would call, advise what T-mobile has offered and to see what they could do. Well simple answer after trying to get through to the right department for over an hour......NOTHING!

I head up a sales & Service Contact Centre in the UK and the service I received was to be polite...shocking! They where not interested in trying to retain me, couldn't be bothered & ended up saying, well pay out of your contract & go then! (word for word!).

So then I was cleaning out my office draws (what one does when trying to find something!) and came across my previous phone (blackberry torch 8900), thought I would use it for my work phone (actually better than the Iphone 4), however on O2. Rang customer services just asked for 'MEP' code and they said, no problem however that will be £20 charge! So instead of utilising the phone by providing me with the MEP code and keeping as well established but unhappy customer semi pleased with the service they just said I need to pay the £20 or they will do nothing. All I can say after 10 years with orange is if they contiue to provide service like this, then O2 seems very appealing to me come the beginning of next year!

May also bring this up in my next managment meeting & cancel our current business contract with Orange & transfer everybody over to O2!

Unlocking Code

I had an iphone on orange for 2 years and my contract was at an end. As it states in the terms and conditions there is a £20 charge plus vat to have my orange phone unlocked so that i could go with a different provider(3).

This being the case i rang up orange customer services and requested the unlocking code, at the same time requesting a PAC code so i could transfer my number.

They told me i would have to wait 20 days to get the code and that the PAC code was only valid for 30 days.

After 30 days the unlock code had still not been sent to me and so i rang up customer services to find out why

Iwas told that there was no record of me ordering the code and that it would have to be done again and also my PAC code has become too old and would also have to be requested again. This meant i had to pay another months contract on orange to get the code.

As you can imagine i went ape not only had i been waiting a month for a code which had not been ordered i had to also pay another month for the orange contract and i was into my 2nd month on a 3 contract which i couldnt even use.

The indian lad in customer services was very appologetic and guarenteed me that i would have the code within 48hrs of that call.

4 Days later and i still have no code so i ring them up again and get through to an indian girl this time who also say that no code has been ordered either times and that it is impossible to actually get the code in a 48hr period. Oh my god what is wrong with these people, she then gets a proper attitude about me being upset at the customer service that i had recieved and started to talk over me at every oportunity. She has then gone on to tell me that i would have to order the code all over again and this can take upto 20 working days, at this point if the phone wasnt mine it would have been straight out of the window.

The indian girl gave me two options; one was to let her order the code and the other was for me to order the code myself over the internet. i took the ordering it my self option and she asured me that this would definately get me the code.

So as it stands ive ordered the code 3 times waited 2 months and paid 4 lots of bills to phone providers and i still cannot use the phone on the 3 network.

Never never choose to go with Orange i cant stress enough how unhelpful the customer service advisors are .

Orange Are Poor

I am total shocked by the bad customer service within the company from normal day to day customer service to the higher up within the firm ( [email protected] are even worse than normal customer service team)...I made a complaint to offcom ect a year ago because they were trying to force myself to a 24month contract when in fact I had it in writing was only for 18months.....Offcom have been back in touch with myself about it all and looking for more info.....why were they doing this????? makes you wonder if they are due another high fine that had not long ago when were on BBC watchdog

Nailing

Very true, took out a contract last week and going to cancel within the 7 days .

Cannot get any swappables, site is always down and giving error messages.

The staff arevthebrudest I have ever come across , I have had the phone put down on me 3 times this week , spent almost 8 hours on the phone to them and they still can't sort it out .

Then within the 7 days cooling off period ,they have tried to take a months money already .

Though Vodafone were bad , these are atrocious . A complete nightmare !

Terrible Service !!!!!!!!!!

worst company I have ever dealt with. dont trust these idiots. Charged me over £2,000 which they then had to give back to me through a direct debit endemity. Service dreadfull, data very slow. Rude staff very un professional company. after I left orange they promised the phone would be un locked and then after two weeks told me it would be another 20 days before it could be unlocked and there would be a £20.00 charge. will never deal with these imbeciles again. If you ask to be put through to a senior manager they ignor you and try and get round it. over all so angry i had to go out of my and wirte this, i have beter things to do but feel passionatly that this company is so dreadfull that people should be warned about them. never use them!!!!!
