I have had KJC Care phone insurance for over 3yrs on two phones and was sold the policy by KJC MARLOW to protect me against theft. I recently had one of my phones taken by a pickpocket. Guess what, they have refused to honour their agreement. They claim it was not taken by force, which is in fact robbery. KJC tell me they cannot control KJC care, KJC care say that it is out of their hands. All sounds like misrepresentation and someone trying to riggle out of a contract. KJC's handling of the situation has been appauling throughout and very matter of fact. If you want good customer service, do not buy from a phone from KJC.

Havant staff insisted I supply contract copy before any action taken (couldn't find it). Also suggested I get fault with phone (under waranty) fixed via their insurance and pay the £25 excess.

Portsmouth staff looked up my contract on (linked) database and directed me to nokia service centre unless I wanted to leave phone with them. Most helpful.

I had my Sony Ericsson T68i stolen from my kit bag whilst I was in the shower in a leisure centre after a game of squash. After submitting the claims form the exclusions were pointed out to me and I did not qualify. These are very extensive, but basically unless you had the phone physically removed by force from your person it is not covered. This was never explained at the point of sale.

I have since claimed on my standard household policy and been told there will not be a problem and you do not even have to pay a premium for the cover. Do NOT use KJC's policy and now as a matter of principal I will NEVER use this company again.

KJC Phones will not give a new phone in case of problems....2 new SIM card and 3 repairs later, I am still without a phone...it has been returned to Nokia now for a replacement. KJC RULES state they will not exchange or sort anything out unless phone returned for repair so it's now middle of October and I still haven't got a phone.

OK for them to not keep to contracts but what if I didn't????

Do not buy from KJC or else get pay as you talk, I'd have saved a fortune not having a phone for 3 months!!!!
