Ordered A Phone In Aug 07 From Dial-a-phone. Happ
Ordered a phone in Aug 07 from Dial-A-Phone. Happy with product. Phone breaks, so I use my 3 months free insurance to get it fixed. The phone was sent to The Fone Clinic for repair. Came back a week later with the same fault. This happened a further 3 times. Decided enough was enough so contacted Dial a phone who promised to send a new phone. Phone came but was a used phone, it had ear wax in the ear piece. Contacted Dial a Phone again who apologized, sent out a 2nd handset, which again was used and had the old users info in it. (breaking data protection here I think). On the phone to them again threatening court so a 3rd handset is sent out, which of course does not work. Back on the phone to them again this time there head office no and spoke to a guy who assured me that the next phone I received would be a brand new sealed phone that would normally go out to new customers. This supposed new phone turned up today, and believe it or not it was the 2nd handset i received with the old owners info. I am now waiting for a 5th handset to come back. I have told them that if this one is not brand new then I will be going to the small claims court. Do not use them if you want to keep your sanity(or your phone)!!!!!!

Hi, I am also having problems with Dial a Phone. I have managed to get the Head Office number (which they don't give out). Do not give up, keep phoning every day. You will get there in the end!

I Bought A Phone On A Thursday To Be Delivered On
I bought a phone on a Thursday to be delivered on the Friday, they took £83.00 out my band, I waited in all day Friday and eventually gave up and went out, at 3.00pm as i was on my way out i received a call saying that there was a problem with my order and that they needed copy utility bill to be faxed. I said I could do this but not until Tuesday, I then asked why someone hadn't contacted me before 3.00pm as the phone was to be delivered today to be advised that i was not the only customer. Anyway things got heated and i put the phone down, I then rang later that evening to be put through to the automated service which told me that my order had been cancelled and any money debited from my account would go back in within 10 days, yet i am still waiting some 19 days later. I contacted dial phone who gave me an email address to write to. If i do not hear anything then i will issue court proceedings in a small claims court as this is the only language some companies seem to understand.

This Is A Classic Case Of A Company That's Focused
This is a classic case of a company that's focused on the customer up to the point they pay. They are hard to contact. You get a standard response or a useless IVR system.
I have two phones with these people. The first transaction went smoothly; the second didn't and after my experiences over the last few days, I'll never use Dial-a-phone again. EVER!

Dial-a-phone Took A Withdrawal Of £300 From
Dial-A-Phone took a withdrawal of £300 from my bank account when it should have been £150 resulting in me being overdrawn and having to pay bank charges. I cancelled the order for my phone and asked for a refund. This was in June and I still haven't got my money back after eventually finding a number to call.
I am unable to find any information on how to contact them on their website. I went to this company as they were listed under the sponsored links on Google.

Would Not Recommend Anyone To Dialaphone And Will
Would not recommend anyone to Dialaphone and will have no dealings with this company in future. Impossible to speak to a human being if you're not looking to buy a phone from them. Their customer service number is an expensive 10p per min, and even then it's recorded voice, I spent £2 on calls to this number before I was successful in reporting my phone faulty. I have not received my cheque for redemption claim of £49 and am currently in communication with them regarding this.

Shockingly poor organisation to deal with, ever wondered why the compnay has two names - Mobile Express & Dial A Phone???
Quite simply they will take your order (on occaision) cancel a day later after stating it has been delayed then take the cash and not allow you to call them....

I Am Now On My Third Contract With Dialaphone. Al
I am now on my third contract with Dialaphone. Although their cashback deals are not the best out there I am happy with the way they pay the cashback- without any need to chase them and the cash backs are paid quickly once they receive the required info. Only complaint is about the customer service number which is fully automated responses so difficult to speak to an adviser.

I purchased a phone from Dial-A-Phone 4 months ago, and it was delivered straight away. The phone stopped working after 2 weeks, & I am still waiting for a reply from Dial-A-Phone. I have sent letters to them, and I have phoned them. I don't know what else do do. The insurance company say it is nothing to do with them, and it's Dialaphones problem.
