Obtaining A Sim Contract Deal On The Grounds Of Deception

Today i paid a visit to the 3store in St Ann's Square, Manchester as i was looking to purchase a £20 bundle. The man immediately tried to sale me a contract. I was happy with my current provider and advised him of this thus have no interest. He then tried to pitch again and i told him i was only interested to purchase the £20 bundle as i was going aboard. On purchase, he went into my phone settings and spent too long going through it to see if the sim card was set up , which caused me to be suspicious. I had purchase the exact bundle the previous year and did not recall it taking as long. When he was finished and i left the show , i noticed i could not get 4g and later had difficulty connecting to the internet. I took it back to the show , the manager was not that bothered. I immediately request for a refund as i had lost confidence with them at this point. I then went into Carphone warehouse and spoke an to ex employer of 3 Store who looked into my phone . He asked me about the company manager of 3 store as he was familiar to him and explained what happened was the advisor had set my phone up to be on a sim contract , which i was astonished that he was vindictive enough to do it. He explained to me that they have been known to do that when he worked there. I think this store should be thoroughly investigated

Good Staff

Good staff – helped me out when my phone was broken. Expected the run-around, but they sroted me a new phone there and then. Good shop and good staff.

I Have Had A Few Problems With 3 First Was In Jan

i have had a few problems with 3 first was in January when i decided to close one of my accounts i called them up got a settlement figure which did not mach the final bill they sent me after many phone calls and much arguing the gave in and said that i could pay the amount that i was given on phone which i did

i January this year i moved home i kept paying my bill my post was redirected for 3 months so no problem in this time i contacted 3 several times through there web site with my new address which they did not reply to finally after not receiving my bills i stopped the direct debit still heard nothing till now when they pass it over to a company called BPO collections a debt collection agency who i have to say were understanding to a point

i then contacted 3 by phone something which i did not want to do as last time they seemed to forget things my advice is stay away from 3 TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE NO RESPECT FOR CUSTOMERS i have now closed my account and i will have to pay till end of November disgusting as if they had changed my address i would not be in this position

Appalling Customer Service

The attitude of staff across the company when dealing with faults is absolutely atrocious. Not once did I get an apology or acknowledgement that they considered it to be an actual problem (it is, see: http://androidforums.com/samsung-galaxy-w/456138-samsung-galaxy-w-message-failed.html).

The first in store staff took my phone and walked to the other side of the shop and played around with it for 40 minutes without talking to me or offering me a seat at any point - I took a seat but was actually asked to move as they wanted to sit down and sign up a new customer.

They then issued me a replacement sim card and very kindly said \"we would normally charge you for this but we won't this time\"!!!! needless to say this did not fix the problem and nor did a replacement handset. I ended up getting a full refund as they refused to give me a courtesy handset if I sent it to their technical team to investigate and repair.

I've had other dealings with them and all I can say is avoid at all costs, they only care about taking and keeping your money.

Absolutely Rubbish! I Had A Phone With Them That I

Absolutely rubbish! I had a phone with them that I bought simply because the contract was cheap. What stupid mistake I made! I spent £160 on the phone itself then I was to pay £35 every month. Well I thought that was reasonable for a top of the range phone, but as I got it. I got NO coverage, I was forced to go outside to make a call. I don't live in the middle of no where, I live close to the town centre. I've been on, O2 and Vodafone and ive never ever had a problem. When I complained they said it was the phone, but it clearly wasn't. They couldn't admit that there network is rubbish! So they gave me a different phone.. And surprise. Same problem, no signal. When I kicked up a fuss, they refused to let me out the contracted. I've got this contract for 24 months! And its not use! Id be better off making a call using cans and string! YOUR RUSBBISH 3!!! YOUR BLOODY RUBBISH AND I HATE YOU!!

network has 99% coverage, recommended by apple as best network for their products but OBVIOUSLY every network has areas where there is no coverage. Be more specific about where you had network difficulties otherwise this review is pointless.
