Dont Be Stupid Like Me

I ordered a wardrobe and a chest of drawers I ordered from them as im disabled and they advertise ready assembled the chest arrived first in a flat pack box weighing 45kg I struggled to open the box never mind build it when eventually assembled none of the drawers lined up and one had a bad chip on it. Then the wardrobe turned up this time assembled but heavily wrapped a I asked the delivery guys to unwrap they said not their job and left when i got the thing unwrapped I discovered it was cheap chipboard very poor quality there were chips in two of the doors and a broken hinge on the inside. I phoned them and they sent another drawer front for the chest (different colour) and a new door for the wardrobe which had more damage than the first one. When i tried calling back they would not answer and they will not answer emails either.

Terrible company selling cheap rubbish at expensive prices. Ignore the reviews on there site they are obviously written by management.

I Was Unfortunate To Order 3 Wardrobes From This C

I was unfortunate to order 3 wardrobes from this company. They arrive in awful conditions. One side of packaging was opened and the goods were in terrible conditions. Nobody with a bit of decency would deliver goods in this condition.

I contacted them and arranged a refund and collection. They gave me a date for collection. One person stayed at home the whole day nobody arrived and nobody even rang us. I waited to see if somebody will get in touch, but nobody did I contact them again they even were not apologizing. They are supposed to come to collect the goods another day, but I am not sure that they would come. They are an awful company with no sense of responsibilities

Bed Not Fit For Bedroom!

We purchased a bed via them for my son and girlfriend. They have a wooden floor in the flat. The bed after a few months is broken. They claim the manufacturer instructions stated that it would need protection to stop it slipping. The instructions we received with the bed from Worldstore did not state that. Even if they did surely this should be highlighted at the time of purchase - who ever heard of a bed not being suitable for a bedroom?!

Every contact with them has passed the responsibility to the manufacturer. We did not purchase from the manufacturer.

My recommendation is to never purchase anything from this company - they have no interest in you as a customer.

Shocking

I would only ever leave bad review if I felt so strongly and didn't want others suffer. Good thing is the quality of the bed is nice (material only). That's it. I am furious at the appalling services. Only 4 castors arrived with the bed then after complaining 4 more did arrive- but they are wheels! One of the draws was broken on arrival. I can not attach the headboard to the bed- there is nothing there! Communication with customer services was fairly good for the first month... it's now been nearly 3 and I've heard nothing. They offered to send another bed, I booked a day's leave from work then heard nothing? No one will respond to emails or tell me who to call. I will not let this lie. The bed was not cheap and this company are a joke

Awful! Avoid Avoid Avoid!

Took many days off work for delivery people never to show up which I have NEVER experienced. Getting a simple collection and refund proved even more difficult as they again took 3 attempts to actually show up, I was emailed numerous times confirming my refund would be back in my bank within 3-5 days and weeks later still nothing so I had to chase them about 5 times, being left on hold for a long time to then be told they were doing it whilst on the phone to me only for me to find a week later...no refund. Unbelievable!

I do a lot of online shopping but have NEVER in my life experienced such unprofessionalism I am in total shock they are still in business. Shopping shouldn't be stressful and this store doesn't seem to understand basic retail or that the time of their customers is valuable so wasting so much of it is unacceptable.

Having read customer reviews after my experience I see that so many people experienced what I have, meaning that their stories of crossed wires and 1 off mistakes are rubbish this is just what they do to their customers.

On the phone staff were polite but extremely unknowledgeable and seem to have a company policy of saying what a customer may want to hear to get them off the phone but not actually solving anything. Each person said the one before shouldn't have told me what they did and that they would personally fix things for me, but then did nothing! On one occasion I actually asked to speak to a manager and was told that all of them were backed up for the next 48 hours doing call backs to deal with customer complaints - not surprising although I wouldn't be shocked to find there are no managers at all and it was just a line to get rid of you.

I wouldn't recommend this store to an enemy, worst experience ever! You would think that they would change with so many consistent bad reviews about the same thing.

Avoid At All Costs

My entire order arrived damaged they do not respond to emails or their online form. Tried to get answer on phone four times for over 30 mins.When I got through promised to organise replacement and would get back to me but didn't. After another 40 mins on phone asked to return for refund again didn't get back to me. Eventually got collection then after a week still no refund. Another 35 mins on hold was told no record of collection please please don't deal with these charlatans

A Highly Unethical Company With Zero Integrity:

1 received 1 case of 24 of my order of 10. i called and after i tried 5 times. they said i only ordered 10 cans of dog food. that was $8.20 per can ? no way ! i get a can for .47 at wal-mart. his attitude was that he didn't care to help me resolve this in any way so i am out $82.01

On Hold On Phone Over 40 Minutes

I WAS SENT AN ORDER CONFIRMING DELIVERY. IT DID NOT SHOW, I HAVE BEEN ON TO THE STAFF WHO ARE TRYING TO FIND OUT WHAT IS GOING ON, SO THE WAITING TIME TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE PLUS NO INFORMATION ABOUT DELIVERY. I WON'T BE USING THIS COMPANY AGAIN NEITHER WILL I RECOMMEND THEM. STILL WAITING FOR MY DELIVERY AS I TYPE THIS AND HOPE IT SHOWS UP BEFORE CHRISTMAS!!!!

Worse Online Shopping Experience To Date.

Worse online shopping experience to date.

Ordered a bed for our son via the Dunelm website which came next day delivery.. All starting so well.

However the bed arrived damaged, looked for instructions on how to arranged a return/ replacement and had to call a number on the advise slip. Unfortunately after being in a queue for around 30 minutes the lines closed.

Found a number for Dunelm customer services and called them only to be told that although we placed our order through Dunelm, they had outsourced our order to their sisted/ aqquired company world stores and it was for ourselves to deal directly with word stores customer services as the systems were not yet combined.

Tried numerous times to get through to World Stores but lines were always busy/ in a queue and it was near impossible to speak to any body. Sent an email and completed the online returns form however this can take upto 72 hours (3 days for a response) which is not ideal when you have a damaged bed taking up space in your house and your son now has no bed!

Eventually managed to liaising with World Store customer services using the facebook chat. Initially was provided a date for replacement/ collection however this would mean we had to store the bed for 7 days. Explained this was not possible and the customer servicers arranged for collection on Saturday (next day) at this point we had already had the bed for 2 or 3 days.

Waited in all day Saturday for the damaged bed to be collected nd no one arrived. Attempted to contact worldstores but again no answer.

Eventually got through to World Stores on the phone and they arranged collection again but this meant we had to store the bed for a longer period. Luckily this time the collection took place.

Throughout our whole attempt. Dunelm were not interested, despite our order being placed via their website and our payment being made to Dunelm.

Unfortunately World Stores do not have a local rate number as the one advertised online did not work so you have to use the premium rate number on the returns note.

In then took way longer than expected to physically receive a refund (around 3-4 weeks if not longer).

All in all we are now around £60 out of pocket, despite receiving a full refund we have had to pay charges for the phone calls to world stores which world stores are refusing to refund and Dunelm will not even respond about. None of these call charges are advertised on the calling system or on the returns note where the number is.

At no point during the order process was it explained that the purchase may be supplied by another company and that all correspondence would have to go via World Stores who we had not actually chosen to do business with. Dunelm have therefore shared our information with World Stores and potentially our payment details without our consent.

I will never use Dunelm or World Stores again and will make sure the poor experience is known to family and friends.

I recommend you keep away from these companies.

Terrible Experience With This Company

Ordered a wardrobe from this company because it ticked all the boxes that I needed. The first wardrobe arrived damaged and the delivery driver took it back with him. Had to contact the company myself to get a replacement which they arranged to deliver on a Friday even though I work full time. That one was cancelled and after several e mails another date arranged. Asked for it to be delivered on a Saturday so they arranged to deliver it on a Friday. By this time I was losing the will to live so took half a day off work to receive delivery. Nothing arrived and no phone call to say why not. E mailed company again to be told it had been damaged in transit. Also e mailed complaints department. Three days later received an e mail from them saying they were too busy to reply ( I wonder why?!) Was going to cancel the order but persuaded not to by offer of healthy discount. Delivery rearranged for a Saturday and wardrobe arrived and installed in bedroom. Unpacked it and checked it. It fitted perfectly into the space and I was so relieved I even overlooked the muddy footprints all up my beige stair carpet. The delivery men left. I opened my new wardrobe door and it fell off!! I phoned customer services on hold for 30 minutes before got through. Cancelled order and now have to wait for them to collect it and refund me. Two months after this all started I have to start looking for my perfect wardrobe all over again. Would not recommend this company to anyone.
