Having found a chair we liked the look of online we were struggling to find a local retailer to see the chair. I happened to see that Holloway of Ludlow did stock the chair. Using the contact form online I sent a request as to whether we could view the chair in store. The manager arranged for the chair to be taken to the store nearest to our home and contacted us to let us know it had arrived. When we visited the store staff were happy to help us with any questions and were helpful and polite.

We purchased the beautiful chair and are thrilled with it and with the customer service that Holloway staff provided both by email and in person. We would recommend this store.

I ordered a couple of Jielde lamps (made in France) from a lighting shop in Sydney a couple of kilometres from where I live. After waiting nearly five months the wrong lamps turned up (incorrect order, not Jielde's fault), after I had identified the lamp on the shop floor.

Frustrated, I found Holloways on the net who sell the Jielde brand. Unfortunately, the colour I wanted wasn't available in London so had to be ordered from France, which meant a longer wait (especially as the factory was closed during August).

I received the correct lamps three months later for AUD$400.00 less, which included shipping costs and cost of changing the plugs.

As I had nearly given up on getting the lamps I was delighted. The service from Holloways was excellent.

I ordered two external lamps. When they arrived (the next day - for which no extra charge was made), the bulb ceramic bulb holder of one of the lamps was broken. I spoke to a friendly and efficient person in Ludlow's Returns department and a replacement bulb holder reached me within one working day. Congratulations.

This was our first purchase from Holloways of Ludlow. We purchased a Birdy floor lamp. We love this lamp which is now installed in our lounge and we are delighted with it's looks and functionality. We were also impressed with the fantastic quality of the packaging and all the bits that come with it (gloves to ensure that there is no damage to the product when handling it, special plastic spanners to tighten/loosen the nuts which control the adjustability, a booklet explaining the product and its design origins etc). Finally the construction and material quality of this lamp seem or be of a very high order so it's everything we were hoping for. The shop staff were very helpful and eager to please. There was a slight hiccup with the delivery which came a day earlier than requested. As we were going out at lunchtime we called the shop and they made sure that the delivery driver would arrive before we left. This all worked and it was a pleasure to deal with the staff who made every effort to get things sorted out. Overall a very pleasant shopping experience.

A brilliant selection of products, very helpful sales team on the phone, and impressive after sales service. On several occasions i had made mistakes with my order and the customer service team could not have been more helpful

It has taken more than a month for a simple lightbulb to arrive: I am still waiting for it. E-mails are answered with apologies and promises but the promises have not so far materialized. Their stock looks great online, lots of interesting things, but this is the second time I have had bad experience with their service once an order has been placed. Never again.

We ordered two of the Scandilux lights, and are really pleased with the product. However, it wasn't clear from the website whether the lights had their own switch (rather than being turned on from a separate wall switch) so I emailed them to find out and never got a response.

I also think that the website isn't that easy to use either, split into contemporary and traditional, which isn't always useful.

The delivery was quick and easy though.

This was my first time buying from Holloways of Ludlow and I have to say I am impressed. I'm in the process of renovating 3 bathrooms at the same time, so this necessitates a lot of shopping around, a lot of online purchases, and a lot of disappointments. But I have to say I wasn't at all disappointed with Holloways. I found a beautiful, unique, characterful light for our cloakroom, at a great (reduced) price, and it was delivered almost instantly, with loads of packaging. I've yet to see it in situ, but I can't imagine I'll be anything but delighted. Love the website, love the quality of products on offer, just wish I could afford more of them! Having ordered from Holloways of Ludlow on several occasions over the past year, I felt moved to write and praise their service and products. Their attention to detail and communication has been second to none and very considerate and personal in its nature.

When a product didn't suit its intended use, they were also speedy in refunding my order without question.

The most recent light I bought from them is unique and of great quality and has attracted a lot of positive comments and admiration - I couldn't be more pleased!

Always wanted a specific spotlight, but could not find it in the finish I was looking for. Found exactly what I wanted from this website, and got a price match from the other website that didn't had the right finish (Got a quick answer by email).
