Wish I'd Found These Reviews First!

I ordered a lamp table from this company 4 weeks ago and have been fobbed off like the other reviewers. Firstly receiving an email advising of a delivery date, which came and went...then another email apologising with another date...still did not arrive! Now their website is down so I don't hold out much hope of getting my money back.

Do Not Order From This Company

I ordered and paid for a bed 4 weeks ago. They gave me a delivery date but nothing turned up. I contacted them and they said they were having problems with their couriers. No communications from them to advise me of situation at any time. I had to phone them repeatedly for updates.

After 2 weeks I asked them to cancel order and refund my money. 2 weeks later still waiting for refund.

They are agents based in Chester CH1 2LR. They are not a registered company or business only Internet order agents. They do not appear to have any clue as to what they are doing except taking your money. Do not use their website.

Their phone number is not on a landline and they do not give you an address. I will be visiting their office in Chester for further progress if I can find it.

No Product Arrived!

This company appeared to be efficient at first with a polite email acknowledging my order. I was given a delivery date so waited in for the arrival of my light, only for no delivery to be made. I then contacted the company who said they would re-arrange delivery but then emailed me some time later to say that they had decided to cancel my order! I still have not received a refund two weeks later! Terrible service.

Utter Incompetence

Ordered two items that were indicated as being in stock. This took two attempts as their online system hung. Delivery day was confirmed. Just in case I had it confirmed over the phone. The day before the first delivery day I got a call stating that the items will be rearranged to a later day. That later day in the morning I got an email claiming that there is a further delay. Then two separate people emailed me, one confirming that the item will be delivered the next day, the other claiming that the items are out of stock for more than a month. Maybe I was unlucky, as on reviews.co.uk this company seems to have very positive reviews, which seems to be in strong contrast to this site's reviews.

Warning! Warning!! Warning!!!

OMG! How I wish I'd seen the reviews on this website before I ordered items from Formyhouse.com instead of the fake reviews that are promoted on their website.

Unfortunately, my story is the same as the rest on this website - ordered some stuff... given various delivery dates... eventually, after many emails and phone calls, I decided to cancel my order... finally ran out of patience waiting for a refund and passed the burden of chasing for my money to my credit card company who assure me that they will get my money back.

What struck me most in my dealings with Formyhouse.com was the undercurrent of arrogance and disdain with which I was treated and it is my sincere hope that others who have suffered the same fate as I did will leave their comments here til eventually Formyhouse either take notice and up their game (and customer service skills) or crash and burn!

My only advice to anyone considering purchasing anything from Formyhouse is...

1. DONT!

2. If you absolutely have to, at the first sign of a problem contact your bank/creditcard company and get them to get your money back, dont waste time with emails/phone calls as you will only feel frustrated and disrespected.

Sharp Practices

Avoid these people. I ordered as their 'reviews.co.uk' rating was excellent. But we then had a disaster, i was told the product was ordered, then the order delayed, then they had forgotton to order it... then i could have refund, the they had forgot to process the refund, finally got the payment company involved and sat on the phone for hours to them until they processed a refund, still waiting for this to arrive. In the course of looking into them then i would suggest that you need to avoid sites using reviews.co.uk rating - its not an open review system... and clearly!!! used by a big bunch of liars!

formyhouse is not their registered company name.. so quite who they are I am not sure, just hoping I get my money back.

Appalling Customer Service

Delivery didn't appear on 4 occasions, each time I had to phone or email to find out what's happening.

Two days then off wok waiting for the delivery.

Two weeks later, promised delivery today, got confirmation mail as before and yet again to not arrived. Contacted the company who refused to put me through to a Manager. They emailed saying they had cancelled my order and would refund me and give me a £30 voucher. I asked for confirmation refund processed and guess what, none sent. Why would I want a voucher when they can't even deliver the goods. Ordered and paid for?

This company is a disgrace, they cannot be allowed to treat customers in this way.

Absolutley Hopeless And Helpless

Ordered gateleg table and 2 chairs counting on 'scheduled' delivery date of three days later. Payment was taken from my bank account in a flash. Then I got an e-mail saying item could not be delivered then but someone who was overseeing the whole thing and it would be dispatched in 1 - 7 days. I wrote to him expressing my disappointment, but as per everyone's experience got no response. E-mailed again after eight days to say where is it? but once more no reply. I also said in that e-mail that I wanted to cancel the order because of my total dissatisfaction with this firm but of course, no response. I then wrote to Amazon who 'promote' this firm, but they said no, they take no responsibility for their actions so there is nothing they can do.

Avoid this lot like the plague. They are both hopeless and helplesas. Useless too.

Ordered Twice Both Times They Could Not Deliver On

Ordered twice both times they could not deliver on the dates promised. Took nearly 2 MONTHS to refund the cost of the first order and the second was only refunded after a complaint.

I ordered from these guys and they took my £354 straight away now they seem to have disappeared! I ring and get put on hold for over 40 mins and no one picks up. If I search there website it is now saying service temporally unavailable. I ordered on the 26/10/2015 they said delivery would be the 4th November. Wish I had seen these reviews and not been fooled by the other ones online. Have I lost my money or is there anything I can do?

Thanks for your answer. I raised the issue with the company i paid through and apparently the order has been cancelled and they retuned my money on the 3rd. Fingers crossed I receive it back as the company seem to have vanished off the face of the earth!!. No return emails from them I was on hold for 50mins trying to get through and spoke to no one so gave up!!, and now there website seems to be down!!. Fingers crossed for everyone who has ordered with them they get their money back!!. Xxx
