Directflooring2u - Stockport

Took more than 4 weeks and when the goods arrived they contained 50% wrong items. They think they know better than the customer and are quite prepared to blatently lie about how products should be used to cover up thier incompetance. Do not trust anything they say. They haven't responded to 3 messages on the "contact us" link and its difficult to get hold of them on the phone, quote "the person you need to speak to isn't available, we'll call you back" but they don't. In my opinion they see customers as an inconvenience to them.

I ordered flooring to value of £1300 on-line through directflooring2u only to find out that they are really Stockport Flooring. I understood that delivery would be 7 working days although it may take up to 28.

Waited three weeks and, after reading other people's comments on this company, decided to check progress of order. Unable to track order on website as it did not work (it still does not work!).

Phoned their office. After speaking to two people I was passed to a third who told me that the flooring I had ordered was out of stock and my order could not be processed. No explanantion as to why I had not been informed by them earlier. I asked how I will be getting a refund of my £1300. I was told that they had recently changed their credit card system so they were unable to process a refund! Unbelievable!

As I had paid through Paypal I was told to open a dispute with them and escalate it into a claim. I have done this and am waiting for things to be sorted out by Paypal. As they still have my money I cannot order flooring from anywhere else at the moment. Total inconvenience.

Stockport Flooring (or whoever they trade as) do not seem to care whether I get my money back or not. I am left to fight to get my money back myself.

Customer care? What customer care? Avoid at all costs unless you like giving money to a place that does not deliver the goods and leaves you with nothing except a fight to get your money refunded. Happy days!

Buyer beware! Stockport flooring also trades on-line under directflooring2u and directlighting2u. Bought a light from them, worst comms/customer service I have experienced from a retailer - had to chase them every step, was expected to wait 1-2 months for item to come into stock, it never came in and they never contacted me to tell me they couldnt get it, at two months they finally offered a refund, the refund never materialised, I chased them several times and no-one wanted to accept responsability for resolving the issue, after repeatedly calling I managed to get to speak to the manager (and on the 3 seperate occassions I did I got a conflicting story from him each time). The company never responded to emails and their online reolution order tracking tool rarely worked. At time of writing this 5 months have now passed and still no refund! It honestly feels like they blagged it for two months which coincidentally is the cut-off for paypal to be able to charge them back.

Similar to other customers. Have bought products from them but waiting for a refund for the last 2 months. Very polite guys but absolutely but have no intent or willingness to return your money back. Its these cowboys who destroy the reputation and expereince of online / internet shopping.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS FIRM. THEY HAVE 3 DIFFERENT TRADING NAMES!!! SAYS A LOT ABOUT THEM.

Future potential consumers, please be warned about this supplier!! We ordered some Karndean flooring back in January, they couldn't give us a delivery date after a month. We canceled the order in February, and STILL, after 2 months of cancellation, chasing up the refund they owe us.

Please do not get trapped in the situation as we are in and don't touch Directflooring2u with a barge pole!!

What an absolute waste of time this firm are. They are happy to accept orders with a promise of delivery within 7 to 10 days. Only much later and after chasing you find out that they don't have stock and are unable to give firm dates for delivery.

It looks like this firm also trades as Stockport Flooring and I suggest that others read those reviews too!

I have taken heed of the reviews on Stockport Flooring and have lodged a dispute with my credit card issuer in an attempt to get my money back.

Would just like to express what a tremendous job Paul and Danny have done. I have recently had some karndean fitted and i couldn't be more happier with it, i've had pleasant comments from family and friends, I would also like to praise the surveyor for helping me pick a superb choice as I was hesitant on which one to go for. So over all very positive.

Let me start by saying how friendly and polite Luke and Danny the screeders were, they came to my home the day before i had my carpet fitted and i am pleased to say they arrived on time which was very impressive, theres nothing worse than having to wait in for someone.

I can't express how thrilled i am with my carpet, they have done a fantastic job, i would be more than happy to recommend this company.

What a nice bunch of guys! Had issues with the items bought. They are really polite and well mannered throughout. Problem got solved. Very pleasant experince, would definetly recomend.

brilliant firm i purchased a very large amount of laminate of this firm just received it 3 days after order when i was expecting del to take upto 7-10 days so was extremely pleases when they phoned me to say that there couriors would be del next day just 2 days after ordering.

would definately recommend them to freinds and family without hesitation
