Awol Item!
Terrible company. Ordered one package of seeds. Charged £2.50 for a 90p postage and two weeks later still no sign of the item which was in stock and still is online. No replies to emails. Should have read the reviews first before ordering. Do not use this company if you're In a hurry for items - in fact avoid them totally.

Appalling Service
Ordered items online and then got email 3 days later to say items not available. It's fairly simple, offer for sale what you have got and then send it. Don't let the customer waste time preparing for the arrival of something and then letting them down. Could have bought elsewhere and now too late. Never again and will tell everyone.

I ordered some hanging baskets which were shown as in stock with a delivery date of 7 to 10 days. Three weeks later I am still awaiting delivery. An email elicited the response that they would be despatched "in 2 or 3 days time" but I am still waiting. The company operate from York and I live in Leeds, less than 30 miles away. Don' t yet know the quality of product but will never use them again. Terrible, uncaring service from a business which does not merit custom!

No Sign Of Delivery ...

Three weeks after stated date of despatch and still no sign of delivery.
E-mail replies dealt with promptly with promises, but those promises gave not been met.
I note other reviews on multiple sites express the same delivery problems.
However, I have been inundated daily by promotional e-mails to such an extent that I have unsubscribed from their mailing
list.
Maybe it might be a good idea to cut down on the mail shots and concentrate instead on fulfilling existing orders???
Hugely Disappointed
Have bought from them in previous years and been satisfied, but this year has been terrible.
They seem completely unable to estimate accurate dispatch times and stick to them.
I get the impression that they are one of those companies that over-do the marketing and take as many orders as they can, without having to resources to fulfil them.
Very frustrating and means that we simply will never order from them again.

I placed my order in January 2014 for a delivery some time in April. May came along and still no delivery. I sent an email and received a reply saying they had no record of my order and the prefix was incorrect. I sent another email with a copy of my order confirmation and was eventually informed that there had been a company takeover at some point and somehow the order had disappeared into thin air. The matter was then passed on to another department for action (over 3 weeks ago) and I have heard nothing since. So here I am, with no plants and minus the cost of the order, which they had already taken on my credit card at the time of order. Fortunately I was able to order the same plants from another company and received excellent service.
Use Blooming Direct at your own risk. I would not recommend them to anyone and would certainly never use them again.

I Have Bought Geraniums From Blooming Direct In Pr
I have bought geraniums from Blooming Direct in previous years and been very satisfied. However this year has been a disaster - wrong plants sent, no labels, the dahlia plug plants came very late, were very small and 3 of the 6 promptly died. I am afraid that they have got serious problems.
Appalling Service And Communication
I ordered some plug plants to "grow on" on the 7th March, all were meant to be in stock, nearly seven weeks and many phone calls later still no plants yet dispatched. They will not be worth having soon. The people in the call centre are very pleasant but are unable to advise on when the delivery is going to be made or provide any updates, we have been told many times that they are going to be dispatched imminently. They obviously have problems supplying the order, the blooming direct web site gives the impression that you are dealing direct with a family business in Jersey that is not the case. My advise is give this appalling company a miss

Bought Some Geranium Plants From Blooming Direct A
Bought some Geranium plants from Blooming Direct and they arrived very quickly (2 days later), well packaged and in good condition.
Have now potted them up and they are growing well. Am really looking forward to the flowers.

What A Great Website - Very Clearly Laid Out With
What a great website - very clearly laid out with easy navigation and product categories and extremely competitively priced. Bloomingdirect specialise in small plug plants (I think this is their proper name) so don't expect to be able to buy big plants from them. Bloomingdirect also sell cut flowers and great little gifts too. Have used the site about four times now and everthing always arrives on time and undamagaed in great branded boxes. I have also recently signed up to Bloomingdirect's online newsletters which always contain such great offers, I really don't know how they do it! So far I have been very impressed with this online garden store and I would recommend it to anyone. Lastly, I also have to recommend the customer service - the team always seem to be very knoweldgeable and polite and make you feel like a very valued customer.
