I have seen this company (srbworld) has had so many BAD reviews that srbworld have had to change company names and telephone numbers to wipe it's slate clean from bad reviews/attitude and talk of national press!!!
Upon looking on the internet I see that srbworld are NOW srbwarehouse -
I was going to be purchasing from this company (srbwarehouse), but the reading I have just read about srbworld - I have luckily changed my mind.
Failed To Deliver
I bought a racer car bed for my 2 year old . The cost of the bed plus the mattress was £ 618. They delivered the bed without the mattress and I called them several times and sent them emails but they still didn't deliver the mattress. A lady called Katie assured me it will be delivered but it ever happened. It was only in November that I found out the company has been sold out. I' just need my money back so I' ll take it further.
Never Received Goods
I have a Cilek racing car bed and wardrobe for my sons bedroom. I ordered some new stickers for his bed as they had faded (these were paid for over 6 months ago). We have waited and waited and waited, still no stickers. They cost nearly £40.00, and after repeated phone calls I have found out today the company has been sold (only by looking on the internet). We were hoping to have them before Xmas to revamp my 4 year olds room, bt it looks like that is not going to happen. I am not holding mch hope for a refund bt I intended pchasing a desk and set of draws which I am glad I did not order.
Do not buy from this company it is a joke

I ordered the black pirate desk from them and I never personally received a confirmation email, I spoke to the lady twice who assured me I would receive the desk shortly. After 2 months of sending them emails and calling I threatened them with the police in one of my emails and only then did they email back and refund money. AWFUL, DISGRACE, JOKE!!!!!

Do Not Buy From This Company!!
I have been extremely patient with SRB World, and could have posted a comment *months* ago. I have so far refrained from doing this, maybe just because I refused to believe that a company can be so utterly rubbish at what they do. And maybe because I refused to give up that last glimmer of hope I still had for a positive outcome.
All gone.
I placed an order with them for a wardrobe at the end of April 2012, and the following day, phoned them up to add a study desk to my order. Monies paid: £950. As I was still in the process of doing up my daughter's room, I asked them to hold on to the goods for me, which they claimed to be in stock and ready for delivery within 10 working days. I contacted them again in late May 2012 I think, to advise I was now able to take delivery of the items. I was told I would be contacted by the delivery company within 10 working days to arrange a date, however nobody called. I made a few enquiries with both SRB World and also with the delivery company directly (once I found out who they were) and was told a vague stories by both. SRB World told me that the delivery company had 'lost' one of the boxes for my desk, and the delivery company seemed to admit to this one minute, and then said they hadn't received any goods from SRB World at all! In the end, SRB World sent up the wardrobe using a pallet service at the end of June, and included the promised compensation - a lovely bedspread - for the hassle. They said they did not have another desk in stock, and would order one in from their sister company in Germany. I was told that they should be able to deliver to me in the first couple of weeks in July.
This is where things went from bad to worse.
The desk did not turn up in the first couple of weeks in July, and we agreed to a delivery date for 26 July (when I was back from our summer holidays). I even phoned SRB World again on the day to check the delivery was going ahead, and was told it would. Unfortunately, nobody turned up. I then spent about 4 days trying to get a hold of SRB World, looking for an explanation. I was eventually told that the driver had run out of driving time!! A new delivery date was fixed for 31 July - nobody turned up at my address, and I was told my desk had been delivered back to SRB World's warehouse!! I was promised a new delivery by a 'man with a van' for the following day - just to be phoned early in the morning, and to be told that they had now found out that one of the boxes for my desk was damaged!!
SRB World stated that they had another desk in stock, and would simply swap over the damaged box - they couldn't give me a delivery date though, as they had to 'find the box' first, and said this would be difficult as they were also in the middle of a warehouse move. After another few days, I was told that the box still hadn't been found and that they had to abandon the search for it as one of their employees broken their should looking for it. They said they would now have to concentrate on their warehouse move instead and leave the desk til later.
I was offered a refund a few times, however on each occassion I declined, as I had already received the wardrobe and was looking for the matching study desk from the same range to complete the room. Unfortunately, the furniture is not on sale anywhere else in the UK. I was stuck!
Just before SRB World went on their holidays in mid August, they advised me that a new delivery of stock was due in on their return on 27 August, and if I was willing to wait for it, they would be able to get the desk out to me in the first or second week in September.
Needless to say, this didn't happen either - and I was given a string of new excuses! The ship delayed, the ship with customs etc ... I saw no other option but to contact one of our local newspapers to ask for some help with this, and they promply wrote to SRB World. At this point I received another phone call from SRB World advising that, under the circumstances, they could no longer hold on to my money. They refunded a total of £450 - £50 short of what I had paid for the desk! That took another couple of calls and a letter by recorded delivery to sort out!
I do now have my money back, however, the 'latest agreement' with SRB World had been that they would deliver the desk to me in late September / early October, and only charge my card again for the cost price of the desk once I had received the delivery.
The final phone call I had from the company was around 1 October advising that they had yet to receive their shipment and would contact me again with a 'likely delivery date' soon ... I continue to wait ... it's been nearly 3 weeks ... and I am no longer holding my breath ...
If you can learn anything from my story is to fully 'vet' any internet companies you are buying from. In the case of SRB World, don't bother ... I have wasted more than 4 months of my time on them, are now stuck with a room I cannot complete, have spent lots of money on phone calls, not to mention the stress this has caused.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, they are very polite and excellent when it comes to selling you a bunch of tall tales - but they do not come up with the goods!!

More than three weeks have passed since your last meaningless message on my answering machine - you have NOT contacted me by phone, email or indeed any other method despite your promises!
I have had enough!!
You have promised me the delivery of the Flora desk on NINE occassions over the last FIVE months, and each and every time you have failed. You have let me down on EVERY level, and I am convinced that you have lied to me for all of this time.
I have now had to make the heartbreaking decision to look for an alternative for my daughter, who has been waiting since May to have her room completed and back to normal. I have had to buy a regular desk which does not go with the rest of the furniture, and which completely spoils the look of her room - all thanks to your incompetence, poor service, and lack of any decency in AT LEAST admitting to me that you are clearly unable to come up with any goods.
You have wasted five months of my time, you have wasted my resources (your 0845 telephone number is NOT cheap if having to contact you on this repeatedly over the space of five months!), you have cost me nerves and caused a lot of stress. But most importantly, my daughter is now left with a room which looks nothing like it should have done, and this is something we will now have to live with.
You will not hear from me again, however, I will ensure that this sad story of your constant failings gets out and that you do not get any further business from other unsuspecting parents. You have proven yourself utterly unreliable and untrustworthy. Your company should not be in the business of selling furniture.

I've had the Sunday Post (Glasgow) involved in this and they've written to SRBWorld twice - no response. I refuse to phone their 0845 number now, it's costing a lot of money, and I'd rather put this whole sad story and my four wasted months behind me now.
Been thinking of emailing BCC Watchdog / Rip Off Britain though..

Really Badly Run Company
Delays, excuses, no return emails, server problems, product damage, driver sickness, driver childcare issues, wrong delivery address.........it is one excuse after another with this company. The customer services lady (Harriet) is very pleasant, but I do not believe a word that she says. She either works for a company with the world's worst supply chains and she is given the thankless and impossible task of placating irate customers, or else she is seriously incompetent and a pathological liar. This is a real shame as the products look amazing, the company could make a lot more money with repeat business if they could organise themselves. As for the product itself, I bought a Racer bed and put it together with no problems, the comments regarding durability have some merit although you just have to make sure that your kids don't smash hard things against it. Given the choice between an indestructible Ikea bed and a slightly fragile racing bed, I would still take the racing bed. The window problem is solved by taking them off, it still looks good. Would I use this company again, not a chance, shame really as I like using companies with decent product..........they will probably just change the company name when these reviews become too widespread.

Found a mobile number for the MD who is Steve Bridges 07801 590900, thought this might be of use, instead of using the 0845 number (cheaper).

Same here - the product - if you are lucky enough to receive it - is lovely. But the company simply isn't up to the job and should not be in the business of selling since they clearly cannot deliver. I have received a wardrobe after a number of problems, but I am still waiting on a desk - more than 5 months after placing the order! I have been dealing with a lady called (name removed), and just as you say, it's been one excuse after another... I will post my own review shortly

Hello. We are sorry that there was an issue with your delivery. We understand that you have now spoken to one of our managers who have assured you that we do exist! We do understand that it is worrying calling a company and hearing that the number is "unobtainable". Unfortunately, this was down to a power outage and not us, but we are glad that this was quickly resolved.

Constant Lies & Failure To Deliver
I ordered my daughter's bed by telephone and was told it was in stock and would be delivered the following week. I have made several phone calls, and emailed them and each time i was reassured delivery would take place in the next few days. SRB were also available off all of last Friday due to staff training, and today (Monday) their servers are not working and they're not aswering their calls. I'm fed up and just want a refund now as I have no idea whether the bed will ever arrive.
Hello. We are sorry that your delivery was later than originally quoted. We do quote 10 working days and I believe the date you were offered was closer to 16 working days. Our fault and apologies for this.
Whilst we do try to facilitate a customer request for a specific date, under our standard delivery services (included free of charge) it is not always possible to do this. I am sorry that the day you were offered was not acceptable.
So that we are able to offer quality European furniture at a reasonable price and include delivery for the whole the UK free of charge, we do try to keep our costs down. Our small Customer Services team is busy in key times, however, you can leave a message and we will call back. Recognising that most of our customers are working parents, we are happy to call back in the evening if easier.
We appreciate that people are sometimes uncomfortable leaving messages and so we are sorry that you had difficulty speaking to a member of staff.

Horrific Experience Still Continueing!!!
WELL TO START I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THEY DID NOT LET US DOWN ONCE BUT TWICE!!
MY BROTHER ORDERED THEIR BABY'S ROOM FURNITURE 5 MONTHS IN ADVANCE AND AFTER 4 MONTHS THEY WERE TOLD THAT IT WOULD TAKE ANOTHER 4-5 MONTHS UNTIL THEY RECEIVE IT. THEY CANCELLED IT AND HAD TO CALL THAT COMPANY AROUND 10 TIMES UNTIL THEY FET THEIR REFUND.
BEFORE THEY WERE TOLD ABOUT THE DELAY UNFORTUNATELY I PAID FOR BEDROOM SETS AROUND £3000 FOR MY 2 BOYS. I WAS VERY SCEPTICAL AFTER MY BROTHERS PROBLEM WITH THEM BUT KEPT THE ORDER. WE RECEIVED THE ORDER AFTER 4 MONTHS BUT THEN THE MATTRESSES WERE MUCH BIGGER THAN THE BEDFRAMES. WE HAD TO RETURN THEM AND THEY WERE GOING TO REFUND US £500 FOR THEIR VALUE BUT AFTER COLLECTION THEY HAVE NEVER ANSWERED ANY OF OUR CALLS. WHEN THEY DID THEY ONLY TOOK DOWN DETAILS SAYING THE MANAGER WOULD CONTACT US. AFTER 2 MONTHS OF WAITING FOR A CALL BACK WE DECIDED THAT WE HAD TO GET THE MONEY THROUGH CREDIT CARD DISPUTE. THEY ARE NOW REJECTING THE CHARGEBACK AND SAYING WE AGREED ON THE MATRESSES.
I ASK EVERYONE TO THINK TWICE OR 3-4 MORE TIMES BEFORE BUYING ANYTHING FROM THIS CROOKS. IF IT GOES BAD THERE IS NOWHERE YOU CAN TURN TO FOR HELP.
Hello. I'm afraid we do make it clear on our website that we cannot accept the return of mattresses once they have been removed from their packaging. At this point, it would be unhygenic to resell and we have to pay for them to be taken to landfill.
We valued your order greatly and appreciate that you would have preferred a Cilek branded mattress. As explained at the time, we cannot sell Cilek mattresses in the UK as they do not comply with UK safety standards. We sell mattresses that we consider to be of equal quality and that are fully compliant with EU and UK specific standards.. Any customer is entitled to cancel their order with us within 7 working days of receiving delivery. Recognising the value of your custom, we agreed to take the mattresses back long after this date had passed. Unfortnately, we could not refund in full because they had been opened and were not fit for resell nor in the condition in which you received them
Regarding the baby furniture, I'm afraid the timescales you note are simply not correct. We do not ordinarily sell baby furniture, however, one of our suppliers offers a range which is not otherwise available in the UK. We agreed to place this order with our next standard furniture container order. Container orders normally take 8 weeks and can take up to 10 weeks at peak times of the year.

Racer Car Bed - Dont Buy Asa First Bed!! Graet For Older Kid
Bought the red racer car bed about 2 years ago ( it was £699 then) . Very striking looks amazing! Bought it for my son going into his first bed at about 2- huge mistake. Side of the bed on both sides where he climbes in next to the mirrors (tough plastic) cracked on both sides. Bumper is VERY flimsy, this now has a crack in the front too. Im now looking at ways to get this fixed..absolutly gutted! My point is dont buy as a first bed where you kid of climing all over it ( the bumber at least wont with stand the weight) Great for a kid whos older though- all the electrics are amazing! ( The mattress is really comfy and superb quaility by the way - still going strong 2 years on)
