Outstanding
Ordered Barcelona rattan garden sofa sunday night.
Monday afternoon recieved phone call to schedule delivery from anytime wednesday onwards so I chose thursday.
Items were dispached wed and tracking number sent to me.
TNT truck rolled up thursday lunchtime as expected and driver helped me round back with the boxes.
All items were well packaged and in great condition.
I did have to contact customer service as I thought the free outdoor cover was missing.
Customer service was very pleasant and pointed out that the cover is packaged with the table I hadnt unpacked.
Got the impression that they would be easy to deal with in the event of a real problem.
All in all im more than happy with livingitup. Will be my first stop for future purchases.

Poor Quality
I recently bought a Japanese bed Emer/Harmonia with 2 nightstands. The bed is not bad but the nightstands are disgraceful: the different parts do not fit well together when assembled and they are also of different colour, some white like the bed but other yellowish. When I contacted customer service and I show them the photos I have taken, their response was that this is how the nightstands are so they won't change nor refund.
Thanks for your response. The reason I did not return them is because I have been told by your customer service that there was no a defect on the nightstands. They all have a yellowish base. As I won't be able to replace them with anything more suitable (these are the only nightstands made for this type of bed), I did not have any other choice than having them repainted (at my expenses!).

Our customer service manager sent you an email on 21st March 2016 and offered for us to collect the nightstands for a full refund and we did not receive a response from you. Terrible Customer Service
A company that does not care about the customers the moment they get the money. terrible aftersale service, terrible delivery and very rude manager.
I have paid over £1400 for a bed and a mattress and £50 for a delivery service, The delivery men broke the elevator by putting all the furniture in it and getting three people inside. After which they decided to step out and the elevator closed with the furniture stuck inside. The delivery guys then simply left and never came back. It was Saturday and I spend the whole weekend at home having to call the emergenecy service and (!) paid extra £70 pounds to get this bed up 3rd floor and build it cause the elevator was not fixed on the weekend and the bed was blocking the coridor. Further I was not given a chance to inspect the furniture. Now what did Living it up do?
They didn't follow up with me, they didn't call me to offer a redelivery, or building support, when I emailed them they angrily responded saying it is my fault and didn't even offered me a refund of £50 delivery for the service not provided. The worst of all, if that bed was faulty I would not even have any levergage to get it replaced as they would claim I broke it myself while building it.

We are extremely disappointed that you have felt it necessary to leave us such a poor review of our product and service. As we have explained in an email to you earlier today, we cannot be held responsible for the break down of the elevator and you need to take this issue up with the maintenance company that look after your building. The weight of the bed plus the delivery staff was nowhere near the maximum weight capacity limit stated for the elevator in your building, therefore, if the elevator was not overloaded our staff did not cause the break down. As a company that has been selling and delivering furniture across the UK for 10 years, we have had no past issues with elevators and believe this is an unfortunate situation that we simply will not accept responsibility for.
Our delivery staff explained to you on the day that they could not stay all day and wait for the lift to be fixed as there were other customers waiting for their scheduled deliveries. We arrived on the correct day, in the time slot given and were unable to complete the delivery and installation due to the broken elevator so our staff had no choice but to leave and continue with their other deliveries and on the day, you agreed this with them.
I can assure you that none of our emails were written in anger and at no point did we say this was your fault. We suggested that the responsibility lies with the maintenance of the elevator and your building.
We would also like to clarify that if you find any issues with the quality of your bed or mattress then please do let us know. Simply notify us in writing and we will be happy to look into any issues you have. We would not claim that you had broken it, to assume we would and to include this in your review is unfair.

Goods Lost In Transit
Ordered replacement cushions and covers for a garden suite we already had. Our fault that needed - nothing to do with quality of furniture. Given a specific delivery date. Goods not received. Contacted company to advise. They started an investigation with the courier company. Over a week later the company contacted us to say the courier company said their driver 'confident' that he delivered to the correct address so there was nothing they could do. They advised that we needed to report to the Police as theft. As though they haven't more important things to deal with! The true situation was that the goods had been delivered to a completely incorrect address and postcode, the occupier was away on holiday and had been taken in by a neighbour who had not noticed the incorrect name and address. When the occupier returned she advised of mistake and we collected goods. Although the courier company's error the response of Living it up was dismissive and inaccurate. It was their responsibility to either replace or refund had the goods not been traced. Very poor customer service. Goods excellent value but just hope they are delivered to enjoy without unnecessary stress.

Although we are extremely sorry that there was an issue with your delivery on this occasion, we are confident that the correct procedure was carried out by Living It Up. A full investigation was carried out with the courier company involved and the driver who made the delivery. As the delivery had been accepted and signed for it was extremely difficult for us to determine whether these items had indeed been lost. And due to the fact that there was proof of delivery and the driver's statement that the goods had been received at the correct address we were not able to treat the package as lost or send out a second package. We were extremely pleased that you received your package containing your order, although it is a shame that you felt that we were dismissive throughout, despite a member of our team following up over several emails during the course of the investigation.

Furniture Looks Stunning
Ordered an eight seater sofa for the garden and also eight seater dining table and chairs. By getting the items as a package and also money off over the bank holiday weekend the furniture was considerably reduced in price :-) The items were not in stock at the time of ordering but I was kept well informed of the expected date of delivery. The rattan furniture looks Amazing and I'm the envy of all my neighbours.

Ava Upholstered Bed In Purple.
It is always difficult to trust any online furniture company without seeing any of the beds in person (we are in London), but I'd highly recommend getting as many free fabric samples they offer as you can, which we did. We fell in love with the dark purple and knew it would be the perfect match in bedroom. Read the reviews too for reassurance so we went for it during January sales.
The AVA bed had a more masculine look so we went for this style of tufting. Ordered end of january and arrived just under the 8 week mark as bed was not in stock and had to be made on order. Worth the wait and we were in no rush anyway.
Delivery men (R & D) were very punctual, came on a saturday morning which was ideal for us, and could not have been more efficient, considerate and friendly to have around. It was a real luxury not to have to assemble it for a change, (this is part of the £50 delivery charge you pay- for upholstered beds only i think-, and you could tell this is a very strong sturdy bed by just watching them put it together.
Our AVA bed looks exactly like on their website, purple fabric colour is identical to sample we received. Our UK standard double memory foam mattress fits neatly inside, (so not for anyone with Ikea mattresses, make sure of the size you are after). The simple yet stylish look is exactly what we wanted, the price we paid in January sales is incredible for the standards you are getting here. Even full price it would still be great value.
This was a gamble well worth taking and I have very little criticism if any at all to give so won't even try.
(the 4 star customer service is only due to the fact that after 7 weeks we felt the need to call to ask about our bed and they actually said they were going to call us soon as it was being shipped to them and to arrange delivery. so maybe comms could be improved a little after such an amount of time to keep customers happy.)

Rattan Love Sofa
I bought the Love Sofa because it was the best price I could find. I ordered it on Monday and it arrived on Wednesday, which is very quick service. I had to ring up because a misleading email said it was out of stock, the lady I spoke to was extremely helpful and the courier company were equally friendly and professional, and it wasn't actually out of stock.The sofa is really comfy and looks fantastic!

Bio Fuel Fire
Great service from start to finish. Fire is of solid construction and works just as well outdoors.
I originally saw some bio fires at my local B&Q but found them very flimsy. I decided to pay slightly more for a stylish one from living it up. Once delivered I was not disappointed, the metal is much thicker as is the glass insert.
One thing I must mention is the fires are pretty heavy so it does take two people to move them. Ours is in the conservatory and we don't tend to move it so its not a problem.
Everyone comments on how nice it is and they're all surprised as to how much heat it produces!

Lovely Bed And Excellent Service.
We are very pleased with the bed we chose. All our questions were answered by the very helpful sales staff (we asked a lot of questions!).
On the day of delivery I was slightly nervous as I new the headboard was very big and access was a little tight! Hats off to the delivery guys, they managed to get the bed to our bedroom without any fuss!
After setting up the bed we realised we made the correct chose! Its absolutely stunning and is now the centre piece of our room! I cant wait to show it off :)

Roma White Bed
We are delighted with our roma white bed! I finally convinced my other half we needed a new bed and after seeing the roma i was in love! The delivery team arrived on time and took the bed upstairs.
Assembly was straight forward, even for a inpatient husband :)
The platforms are very chunky and overall the bed is very sturdy. Theres enough room under it to fit some storage boxes.
Now I need to save up and purchase the dresser and the 6 drawer chest.
PS the slatts come folded in half so access is not a problem!
