Very Poor Attitude And Sales Response.

I have bought many items from Lakeland in the past, so I went to buy two soup makers from the branch at Bridgemere Garden Centre. Bridgemere Garden Centre is a dog friendly centre, but on entering the store with my small Jack Russell I was refused entry. I was told that there is a sign in the window to warn customers. This sign is the size of a new 50p piece. So left without buying the soup makers. I am having a new kitchen next week guess I won't be using Lakeland to buy new utensils either. I was told by a member of staff that we have food in the store, I pointed out that this is closed food as it's already packed so Hygiene rules don't really apply. Won't buy another Item from this company. Oh! and the staff member wasn't even interested about the lost sale of two soup makers, almost £250.

I Ordered The Dsw Table From Lakeland On 21 May, 1

I ordered the DSW table from Lakeland on 21 May, 1 week later I received a package and when I opened it, they had only delivered the legs for the table! I needed the table for a dinner part the following so I contacted them about this and they promised delivery of the the table top in that week. When they delivered the box, I opened it up and it was the WRONG table top!! Had to contact CS again and told that I am now without a useable table for the weekend, when I was holding the dinner party, so the CS team suggested they deliver the legs for the wrong table top to use as temporary solution. This never happened! So I was still left with no useable table – called CS again to check when the CORRECT table top will arrive, and when they will get rid of the wrong one, as it was blocking my hallway. They promised Thursday and said 2 separate courier companies will come – one to pick up wrong table top and one to deliver the correct one. Thursday came and the delivery of the table top finally arrived. But no courier company to pick up the wrong table top!!!! Emailed them AGAIN and they said they booked a private courier company today. I called the courier company and they said that they had no such booking!!!!! COMPLETE NIGHTMARE COMPANY TO DEAL WITH – AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

Lakeland Furniture - Very Badly Made Broken Damaged Chairs

Yes, they are cheap, and they looked good online. But what a disappointment when they arrived.

I ordered 6 cream faux leather dining chairs. They arrived flat pack in cardboard boxes. But I said to myself, oh well, they were cheap, I can put up with bolting them together. But all the bolts didn't marry to all the holes. And the legs were of different lengths, making for that rocky feeling. The things seem to be made out of Indonesian firewood, but then what do you expect of cheap chairs.

And then I noticed all the holes and tears in the vinyl. And one leg of a back panel was completely snapped off, but had been packed.

I tried for a few hours to find sufficient parts that weren't damaged and that would fit together, in all I managed to make 3 less that perfect chairs.

I called Lakeland Furniture in office hours but it went to voicemail.

Customer Service Is Amazing!

Just had to write a review for Lakeland, their customer service is amazing. I had to return a Shark Steam Mop as it stopped working after six months use. They were so helpful and arranged to collect the old mop and deliver the replacement within five days, they did it in three. There was no ifs and buts, really old fashioned service you don't often get now. They also told me that it had a life time warranty. Never charged me postage and were so polite, I will definitely shop there again, can't recommend highly enough. Thank you Lakeland, 5*

I Really Like Lakeland, I Love To Look At Their Ca

I really like Lakeland, I love to look at their catalogue and have shopped with them for years. My most recent purchase as a Mini Food Processor in their sale. It was only £15 and it is great for chopping up herbs and small items, so much easier than getting out the large food processor when you are only cooking for 2. I have always found the staff in either their shops or on the telephone to be very pleasant and helpful - you really do feel like they want to help you,and not that you are a chore to them.

I Ordered On 24th Dec. And I'm Still Waiting On 3r

I ordered on 24th Dec. and I'm still waiting on 3rd Jan. Online tracking doesn't work, and service department could only say it was with the courier.

I will not be usung them again.

I Have Always Experienced The Most Helpful And Car

I have always experienced the most helpful and caring customer service from Lakeland as well as fast delivery - many other retailers out there could certainly learn a thing or two from them.

Just recently a kitchen product I had purchased a few years ago developed a fault (some plastic breaking off at one end) - they were very helpful and replaced it very quickly even though I did not have the receipt to hand.

My Elderly Father Has Dealt With Lakeland Over A N

My elderly father has dealt with Lakeland over a number of years, and would write this review himself - if he could use a computer! As he can't, he has asked me to do so on his behalf. He has been greatly impressed by their customer service. As an example, a Tefal kettle he bought three years ago 'blew up', so he rang to ask whether this was usual after such a short period. They looked up his purchase records, confirmed the date of purchase, and offered (without prompting) to rplace it with the nearest alternative, a Krupps kettle. There was a small price difference - the Krupps cost slightly less. Not only did the Krupps kettle turn up in the post in two days, but also a cheque for the difference. He was very impressed by this gesture, and by the friendly and efficient manner of the company and its representative. With service like this, they certainly deserve to succeed. Our own experience of the company, over many years, backs up my Father's views. Their ethos of dealing with customers is exemplary.

I Absolutely Love Lakeland!! They Have The Most He

I absolutely love Lakeland!! They have the most helpful and friendly customer service ever. I completed a survey in which I was asked if I'd ever been disappointed with anything I'd bought. I mentioned one thing I'd bought over a year earlier as not being quite what I'd expected. Then out of the blue I got a letter and a cheque to refund the money, even though I hadn't complained or sent the item back. Everything I have bought, apart from this item, has been wonderful and several people have commented on things I have and asked me where I bought them. I should be on commission I have referred so many folk. Although I mainly shop online, it is worth going to Windermere to visit their flagship store and excellent cafe/restaurant, even if you have a store in your local area.
