I'm not sure how this company are still trading. We used consumer legislation to get our credit card company to refund our money to us. We exchanged emails fir a year with this company!

They Took My Order For Furniture In Jan 2014 And M

They took my order for furniture in Jan 2014 and my took payment teeling me the item was not currently in stock, but would place on a back order. The furniture never arrived, nor was there any further communication from this this company. They did not reply to emails or answer the phone. I can only rate them with 5 black hearts for duping me and so may other customers out of their money. NEVER deal with this company

Just Avoid At All Costs

Same as everyone else on here. No goods, but oddly a few frinedly emails and then nothing.

I paid through PayPal though and they have sorted a refund out for me. Don't go near them.

Same story as many other customers...keen to establsh contact, once order is placed they keep delaying delivery, reporting courier issues....once the customer decides to demand a refund (out of frustration) a 7-10 day turnaaround is promised. No refund, no good to date...PLEASE REPORT THEM where possible...they also operate under a number of alias companied BEWARE !!!!

Starting A Payment Dispute Tomorrow

I'm gutted I didn't check this company out before ordering.

My story is as the others on here: I ordered a product early September which never arrived. I contacted the company who told me it was out of stock and offered a refund which could take 7 - 10 days. You guessed it, 2 weeks later and no refund. Emails go unanswered and when I call, they claim a problem with Sage pay and say accounts are looking into it. They make promises about calling or emailing back which never happen.

I would avoid like the plague.

i would agree with you if I had checked the reviews about this company I would not have purchased anything from them. Their customer service is absolutely appalling. Customer satisfaction is non existence. despite several emails and phone calls this company fails to respond to respond to queries and when they do they fob you off. I would not recommend this company to anyone due to poor customer service.

Hampshire Sungkai Hardwood Console Table

This table was delivered within 10 days of placing the order. We are very pleased with our purchase and would definitely use the company again. Everyone who visits our home admires the table.

The staff at Hip Furniture were very helpful when I contacted them for details before purchase. The delivery men were very efficient too.

Just Started The Terrible Battle

Same as all the other unlucky people on here. We ordered a wardrobe, only to find that it is out of stock.... Low and behold! So cancelled our order and told it would take 7-10 days to get our refund. We are only five days in, but seem resigned to the fact we are gonna have to go to our bank. Feel totally gutted, I am usually very careful buying online. But the price seemed too good to be true, Well it was too good to be true. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY!

Sounds like the same situation to me. Just contacted my credit card company to arrange a section 75 refund and it was a very simple process so I would go straight to them rather than trying to deal with these sharks

According to the website delivery should be 5-7 working days. 5-7 working days later I still have not been given a delivery time.

I have spoken with both advisers who told me two different things. One said that the order had been collected for delivery and he would send me the consignment number. Today I phoned up again to say that I never received the information and was told that the order hadn't been picked up and their entire booking system was down.

I explained that I hadn't received any information from them as to when to expect the delivery which was worrying as the money has already been taken off my credit card. They assured me I would receive an e-mail right away to confirm the order and that they still hope that I will have a delivery this week.

It's terrible that a company can take money and fail to deliver on what was agreed when the money was paid and not even offer an apology (note, excuses don't count as an apology).

PLEASE PLEASE do not enter into any transactions with this company. I hadn't been privy to any of the reviews before placing an order with them which I cancelled within one week, having become suspicious by the various responses I received to a product enquiry. Having done so, as per the numerous other people seemingly treated like this by them, I was repeatedly assured the refund was processed. Same 'employees' involved (allegedly in accounts). Their approach is to apologise, feign innocence, check their system and confirm the refund is being processed. It never is! You will without question have to involve your bank. I would suggest that everybody ripped off by these peoples approach a well known consumer affairs programme to provide all their details, and avoid them ripping off other poor unsuspecting customers!

Out Of Stock - No Refund After 2 Weeks

Avoid this company like the plague.

I ordered a bookshelf online and after paying them they told me that it is out of stock. They debited my credit card and they have not given me a refund. I have to make a claim for a refund with my bank and that will cause me a lot of hassle and time.
