I am absolutely fed up with these! I had some built in wardrobes fitted and within 3 months the sliding doors are off their runners. They dont close. The drawers inside dont open. I could go on. These cost us £1300+.

I have contacted customer service 4 times. Filled out forms, and being told i have an online account that i have to log into. Yet the log in details dont work and it says i have to ring?!

I am livid. I cannot use my over priced rubbish wardrobes and am getting nowhere with the so called company.

The abysmal standard of workmanship was only surpassed by the worst customer service we have ever experienced. Once our property had been damaged and we had been left with substandard goods Hammonds treated us like we were a complete inconvenience . To this day we have yet to receive an apology and our long awaited pittance in compensation appears to be lost in transit. We took our complaint to Next after being repeatedly ignored by Hammonds. Next were absolutely fabulous and until their involvement we were treated with distain by Hammonds. If you have bought your product through Next and experience problems do not hesitate to inform Next as they really do value their customers and will do all they can to try and help.

Well where do I start had really good impression of company as staff in next home very helpful. But do we see a pattern here with the reviews how anyone could say good about hammondsspace is beyond me. Designer was rude and kept telling me what I was wanting look mate I'm paying my house, my choice! Anyway did all measurement took over 1 hour to leave it at il email the designs I wanted 3 sliding door wardrobes so was a big potential customer! Still waiting for my email no curtesy call no follow up from them what so ever how they make a turn over in profit not happening. Sort it out hammondsspace not impressed. You missed my business as I went to sliderobes they no customer service and actually listen to a customer!! Your designer says he is from Colchester shut the door absolute time wasting rude,sarcastic waste of hammondsspace

Well where do I start! Was really looking forward to my design appointment had a really pleasant first encounter in next home store very pleasant informative staff, I knew exactly what I wanted. Booked a home design visit for measurement and design ideas I was wanting 3 sliding door wardrobes. As a business owner myself you would think they would treat you as a valued customer even the fact I'd let them in my home to measure you'd think a potential customer. Anyway the man that came was rude sarcastic and very well strange I feel. He did all his measurements that took over an hour!! Then we went through different door options space inside etc. after telling me what I was picking was wrong over and over my house , my wardrobe, oh and my choice mate! He ended the meet with I shall email you later with the price and pics. Great finally I do have a life and a job so finally! Well I'm still waiting and thank god I chose lovely wardrobes from sliderobes in the end and am so happy with them! Hammonds are absolute time wasters well your designer through next home cambridge is I'm sure he said he lives in Colchester sort it out hammonds NOT IMPRESSED! I'm still waiting for email, no curtesy call , no follow up at all. What is wrong with them go somewhere else don't choose hammonds space

I got the brochure and read the the reviews which were poor. I was reassured by the caller so booked an appointment - this was confirmed by a text the day prior to the appointment. When the designer was late I emailed (returned - address not recognised) and called. I spoke to a trainee who nice but hopeless, unhelpful and uninformed - struggling to navigate the necessary databases to check my appointment. The designer never came and I didn't.t get a call back.

If this is their customer service then they are missing a trick! I would recommend that Next stick with clothes and that no one wastes their time with hammond space.

Got to say that after we placed our order with Hammonds Space for fitted wardrobes, we saw some pretty bad reviews. However, we had our wardrobes fitted earlier this week and are very pleased with the results. The fitter was great, worked virtually non-stop all day, left no mess whatsoever, we didn't even need to flick a duster around, the room was left spotless. We are very impressed with the wardrobes and would not hesitate in using Hammonds Space again. K & T, Ipswich

I felt compelled to write a review as I had read so many negative reviews before having our bedroom installed, which really put me on edge. Due to the lack of space in our room we decided on sliding doors, we choose coconut glass and mirror with with bedside table and tall boy. I have to say I can't fault anything. The designer was lovely, as was the surveyor. The fitter was late the first day due to traffic but and had to work the following day to make up the time, luckily we were able to be here. However the finish is great! Very little mess was made and I am thrilled with the finished room. Hammonds also called us every day to see how the room was progressing. I would recommend!

I recently decided to have fitted furniture , so went to hammonds space. What a nightmare from start to finish . The designer didn't know what he was on about , we agreed one lot of finance then changed his mind a wk later . Had to have it re designed . Six wks later had them fitted & now I am left with one full bedroom done in the wrong wood , another bedroom different doors on wardrobe to which I ordered . I ordered a new bed & just found out they haven't ordered me one . So sleeping on mattress . So I am now left withbedroom furniture I didn't order & the staff are so rude they are not interested in customers at all & it's not the cheapest furniture either . Definitely wouldn't recommend it to anybody

Dreadful experience from this outfit in terms of customer experience. They clearly have no idea today's market place is all about service to drive loyalists and recommendations. Never again!!,,,
