High Levels Of Angst But ...
I ordered furniture from Kalusto, which I understand is a trading name owned by the same company that owns the Funiture Dream name. Kalusto no longer has a website, so it looks like the company may be closing down, at least in relation to the Kalusto name.
I can't recommend this company - very slow delivery, poor customer service and follow up, and high levels of angst. Although to be fair a lot of the angst stemmed from the appalling reviews that I'd read on this site. The good news is that the furniture was actually delivered, and it seems to be good quality and exactly what was ordered.
So whilst I wouldn't buy from them again, I hope this review provides some comfort for anyone concerned about this company - if you hang in there you may just receive what you ordered!
Company Not Paying Suppliers - In Court This Week !!!!
The company is subject to legal action( all in public domain) which will we hope result ( shortly ) in the business being wound up. It is rumoured that the directors have reportly "done a bunk" from their previous offices oweing unpaid rent and taking the office furniture with them(will they try to sell this on their website!!) A very doubious bunch of charaters with a known history of failed furniture and transport companies behind them..
Are They Still In Business
I am currently taking them to court for just over three thousand pounds, there website address is down , and the phone number never answers, can any one tell me if they are still in business?????
Our company took them to court and won. Since then Furniture Dream / Kalusto Furniture have refused to pay the court order for the amount owed plus expenses. We have therefore also tried sending in the bailiffs to enforce the court order but they seem to have moved on from the address we had on record for them and the address on their website seems to be a registered office (probably for their accountants) and is therefore useless to send bailiffs to. We are therefore still trying to get them to pay up despite having won against them in court.

Good question. We have already taken them to court and won but they have not paid up. We then sent in the bailiffs only to find that they are not at the address from their invoice and the only other address on their website is the registered office and looks to be an accountants address.
As far as I can see from their web presence they are still in business but we had the same problem with the phones and didn't have a lot more luck with emails.
If you find out anything it would be great to know.

Ordered my coffee table without reading any reviews about this company!!! Then panicked once I had what with all the negative feed back. Phoned the company about my concerns and was re-assured. It took about 8 weeks to arrive as it was comong from Germany but was contacted by the helpful staff with up-dates during this period of time.
I am very pleased with my purchase and would buy from them again.

DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY WITH A BARGEPOLE! Absolutely appalling service - In June my mother paid £259 for a wardrobe to be delivered to my house. I was given various stories - on the high seas, in a storage crate at the docks etc etc. Despite various assurances from Claire and Calum that my mother would be refunded still nothing !!!. This company has no scruples whatsoever. We have now sought legal advice and informed Trading Standards. Please don't just leave a poor review on this website but ensure that you also inform Trading Standards if you have a problem as they will be dealt with through the official channels. The more people who complain to Trading Standards, the better.

I complained to Trading Standards about this company months ago. I am owed £500 for a faulty item that was collected but never refunded. I was told the refund was being processed so many times. All lies. Do not buy from this company - or Kalusto Furniture which they also trade under. I don't know what Trading Standards is doing about this company. I cannot believe they are still trading when all they are doing is taking/stealing money off customers.

Beware purchasing any item from Furniture Dream. Also trading under the company names of Kalusto Furniture and Myfurniture.co.uk. They are NOT issuing refunds despite what they say. I have been owed almost £500 from a purchase made in March. They returned to collect a piece of furniture as it was faulty but never refunded the money. They will promise that the refund is being processed by accounts but it never materialises. I expect the company is in financial difficulty and taking what money it can before going under. Do NOT make purchases from any of these companies as I doubt you will ever recieve any item ordered or see your money again.

Appalling Customer Service And Still Waiting On Refund
I ordered a Lucienne low sideboard on 20th May, I paid with paypal and was told I would receive the item within 2-4 weeks. After 4 weeks I still hadnt received anything and no delivery date could be given to me, i decided to cancel the order this was on 22nd June - i spoke to Clare she said she would inform accounts and the refund would be processed. I waited 7 days and contacted the company again as the refund hadnt shown up i was told it would be processed and show up in 7 days, again i waited and still nothing i have been constantly chasing this and now we are at the beginning of August which is a whole 40 days after I initially requested the refund. They dont respond to any emails and i dont think i will ever get my money back. Every time i call I just seemed to get fobbed off!! I have read over reviews very similiar to mine so it sounds like this company make a habit of this, how they are able to get away with it I dont know?

Still No Refund 3 Months Later
Despite numerous phone calls and emails I am still awaiting my refund from mid April return. Every call I make is answered by a Claire who says it is being processed by accounts. Nothing ever comes through. This company have not answered my emails asking why the delay or when I will get my money back.

Chasing My Money!
Item ordered 31st March 2012, delivery due 3-5 weeks, didn't come.Endlessy promised, even said to be on van. Then they reluctantly said it couldn't be supplied- mid June- so would refund money No sign of it E-mails answered occasionally, kept waiting on the phone, lots of silence! A disaster Don't go near them! Promises and lies!

Where's Our Money????
Ordered a table nearly 2 months ago and was told delivery would be 5 days. 6 days later got told by them they didn't have it anymore and I would get a full refund inside 2 days. Almost 2 months later, still no refund and its now in the hands of the authorities!
No stars, in fact if you could give minus stars they'd get at least 10 of them.
