Company gone into liquidation but still trading on net how is that legal?????I ordered an item paid my money no goods no response via email or phone in hands of bank now.

Stay Away!!

So many reviews that say the same thing STAY WELL CLEAR!!! They've taken my money but no sign of furniture, no response to emails, nothing. Shocking!! Hopefully my credit card company will refund.

Do Not Buy From This Company!

 take your money but don't deliver! Do not respond to email or telephone! Luckily I was able to get a refund through my credit card company. Steer well clear!

I Bought A Table And Chairs And Instantly Cancelle

I bought a table and chairs and instantly cancelled it as I heard negative things about the company.

I didn't get an acknowledgement of cancellation.

I then got an order update to say my delivery of 1-2 working days had to be pushed back to about 3 weeks as there were technical issues.

I replied saying no I've cancelled it please acknowledge this.

nothing.

They still debited my account I have emailed numerous times and called and had nothing back.

It is now 4 weeks later and no refund or contact or even the table and chairs ad I have had to go to trading standards.

Total Sham - Take Your Money But Do Not Deliver Goods

Ordered a table and chairs back in October which has never been delivered and despite promising, a refund has not been provided.

They fail to respond to any emails and calls are left in a (premium call) queue without ever being answered.

I am currently pursuing action through PayPal but I believe this company to be a total sham

Avoid

Ordered the Grafton table and chairs for my daughter for christmas and received an email saying it would be delayed 3-4 days. This was on 13th December, it is now 3rd February and I am still waiting. My money went out straight away and I have sent countless emails and tried to phone but nothing. Please DO NOT buy anything from this so called family company as they have no problem with taking your money without giving you the goods in return.This in my eyes is no better than stealing.

Same as the rest of the guys here. Not contactable and nothing delivered. They certainly appear to make no effort to deliver or work at attaining an acceptable level of customer service (like picking up the phone or hitting reply to an email). I seriously doubt the authenticity of anything positive said about these guys. Would be extremely stressed if I hadn't paid by credit card.

Please , please avoid this company at all costs , I order 6 dinning room chairs on 4 th December with a delivery date for 13 th December ! I haven't received any chairs so far I tried calling this company and they don't answer any calls I sent out 20 emails before Christmas asking when I should expect my chairs, I never heard a thing . On the 27 th December i recieved an email saying something to do with a quality issue they couldn't deliver for Christmas but they would be with me on the 7 th January !!!! You can guess it's been and gone Iv called 20 times Iv left 20 voice messages no reply , Iv also sent 30 emails no reply . They took my £800 pounds immediately when I placed the order I'm going to report them to trading standards . They are a terrible company Iv never delt with a company like it , Iv asked to cancel my order and have a refund so I can try and get some chairs for my dinning table from else where . They have so far not replyed to anything .

Item Not Received, Unable To Contact The Seller

I have purchased a 6 door wardrobe from Furniture Countrywide (Registered Furniture Town LTD) on the 5th of December 2014 that was never received.

The wardrobe was meant for delivery 5-6 days after the order was made and all I received was a delay email from them.

They informed me about some quality issue on 26th of December and gave me an expected dispatch day what was 05th of January.

They are very difficult to communicate with, the number on their website goes to voicemail, no phone lines are answered, no emails returned, unable to contact the seller or receive a response, the voicemail is full.

I have already made a complain against them with my card issuer.

I am just wondering this company is still active.

Unacceptable Furniture Countrywide

I ordered a table and chairs set on 27/12 due to advertised as next day delivery. I assumed there may be a short delay over the Christmas period, but it is now 8/1 and no delivery.. no email.. no contact. Whatsoever.

I have contacted them via e-mail and via their online contact form. No reply.

I have also tried calling.. over the xmas period the phone line had a recorded message saying that the helpline would reopen on the 6th Jan... this recorded message was still being played on the 6th!!

Rang on the 7th and was kept on hold for a while, until a recorded message asked me to email them (which I had a week beforehand) or leave a message.

No reply.

I then called again today (8th) to be kept on hold again... however, when expecting the recorded message asking me to leave a message, instead a further recorded message informed me that the inbox was full.

A lot of unhappy customers I expect.

To add insult to injury... whilst on hold, you are informed of the great customer services and delivery they offer, an d how 90% of customers rate them as 5*. Clearly this is incorrect.. no idea where they found those statistics from!

Ask them for a rebate from CC issuer.After 30 days of not receiving the goods form the day you have the order confirmation , the bank will deal with them

Report them to action fraud.

I am pretty sure they are breaking some kind of law.

I have done the same , got my money back and reported them.

The owners are 2 , I have looked for them online, and they made huge amount of money by having customers calling the chargeable number.Maybe this is the trick for them to make money?

I agree totally as I'm in the same situation. I have now handed it over to my credit card company hopefully they will have some joy in either getting my goods delivered or my money back?

I have emailed twice and tried to call but phones are down for 2 days in a row. I still haven't heard anything about my order that I ordered 3 weeks ago. I'd like my issue resolved. Has anyone else had trouble contacting them?
