Do Not Buy From This Company

I tried to purchase some user instructions for a mobility scooter that I had just aquired. I never received them, and to date 4 weeks I have still not received Them. I tried many timed to phone but my messages were not returned, no replies to emails. I even went to their premises at Grays I was told by a company that they had moved and had not left any forwarding address and that other people were also looking for themother I now have an ongoing despute via PayPal to get my money back.

Wheelchair And Power Stroller

orderd whelchair and power pack 19th January, power pack faulty. Called everyday to try get exchange as i live in LEEDS. Got exchange faulty again after paying for this fitting twice at £40 per time. Tried call back everday no answer to find they have gone Bankrupt. Now £480, out of pocket and cannot get husband out of the house at all. And to make matters worse had to borrow the money from my son to pay for it. Have been in tears.

Avoid Like The Plague

I ordered a bath lift for my Dad. A couple of days later I received an email saying there was a stock error and they couldn't supply for 4 weeks. I asked for a refund as my Dad really needed it ASAP. That was it, no refund and they have ignored all my emails. I have filed a Paypal dispute and they have so far ignored that too!

My Dad is now in hospital, dying from cancer. I have better things to do at this time than fight for a refund.

Wouldn't Wish This Place On My Worst Enemy ! Complete Idiots

I ordered 2 Drive Sport Rider mobility scooters costing over £5400. I was told they were on back order and they would be dispatched as soon as they came in. The young lady was a pleasure to talk to and very efficient. However, one evening at 9.30pm I was messaged from Paypal to say the payments had been refunded to my account. I received NO communication from Discount Mobility Shop what so ever and absoloutely no explanation. I tried phoning and found my number and email contact had been blocked. They must have been expecting me to tell them what complete amatuer idiots they really are. I have dealt with many, many companies for a lot of products and am amazed that such lax, immature goofs are still in business, especially in this economic climate. Please take my advice and avoid dealing with this bunch of fools at all costs. Save yourself from the anguish of waiting for promised products that never appear and the disgust of not even getting a call to apologise for letting you down. This system wouldn't let me put 'No Star' so I had to put one but this is well over rated. Needless to say, I will never attempt to do business with them again (and I use the word loosely in their case since they cannot in any way be described as good business people) and will ensure anyone I know is aware of their misgivings before attempting to order anything from them.

I was surprised to get this invitation to express my feelings about this bunch of comedians but will take the opportunity that has been offered with enthusiasm. I hope they read these reviews themselves and understand how their behaviour reflects on their business.....on second thoughts they probably don't give a hoot anyway ! Goodbye and good riddance... you are guaranteed that I will never darken your sad little doorstep ever again.

Awful, Will Never Use Again

Took three weeks and still hadn't received item. I contacted them and they confirmed it was lost with the couriers. They sent another out. Arrived with crucial part missing. Contacted again and after going back and forth for a few days finally got them to send another. Item finally arrived intact but the quality of the product was truly horrendous and useless for what I wanted. They said I couldn't return it because I'd opened it and had put it together. I'm pretty sure I had more rights than that as it was not an item of hygiene or an electronics item. But it would have meant more hassle for my carers to sort out so had to grit teeth and bear the loss of £175. I will never use this company again, nor will I recommend them to anyone.

Bariatric Chair

Terrible service from discount mobility shop would never shop there again. After puting order in had to phone as no delivery after 9days, told wrong chair had been sent so it was returned to depot by delivery center. no phone call to customer. After speaking to 4 people I was told we would getchair between 1-3 october 2012. 4 weeks after ordering chair. Ok no problem as long as i have the chair. 4days before delivery phone call to say we would not be having the chair as they do not sell this item any more. So why are they advertising this chair for sale. absolutly terrible service will never use this place again or recommend it to any one.

Bath Chair

Ordered a bath chair and after one week was asked for additional post and after two weeks waiting was told by email that the item was out of stock and a considerable wait was needed to replace stock. I needed the item so purchased elsewhere and requested a refund which was returned after about a week. Giving the company the benefit of the doubt I would try them again and with reservations would recommend others.

Sholley Trolley

I ordered one of these trolleys. Had to wait for ages for delivery well past their time scale. Conflicting reports on delivery date by staff. When it did arrive I quite expected to fine the goods damaged as the cardboard packing box was taped up by the courier. Having said that they use City Link, possibly not a good choice.

The item itself is excellent the best shopping trolley on the market
