Not Received Funds
We have used this company for a few years now and never had a problem until the last 6 months. We have been raising money for our company charity, wedding and leaving gifts and now we keep requesting funds and not receiving them, they aren't returning my calls or contact details

Ok After A Bit Of A Panic
I used Shareagift to collect funds for a school leavers' party. When I first requested to collect the funds nothing happened. The same the second time.
This morning I sent a couple of emails and a Facebook message asking for help then called the helpline which is a call centre acting on their behalf. They said they would send an email.
I then came on here to have a look for reviews. And panicked thinking how will I tell everyone?
Then thankfully I saw the review talking about Action Fraud so I called the helpcentre again and said I would contact Action Fraud if I didn't receive the funds.
Now, I don't know if it was the threat of action or the fact I'd sent an email asking for help but the money came within half an hour.
I used Shareagift four years ago with no problems, they were really supportive and helpful at the time. I hope they can turn their reputation around again.

Hi there ! Got the same issue, 2 weeks harassing them on the phone and nothing. They always say they send emails but I have never received anything. Could you pass the email address which helped communicate with them ?

Took £210 of money that I had collected for a colleague leaving. Blocked my number with call screening software and no reply to messages. If you want to donate your friends money to them go ahead and use Shareagift

Worst Ever! Do Not Use!!!
Set up was easy. Then numerous friends had payment issues.
I tried to get funds 6 times and nothing came through. Been calling and emailing since Dec and by February I started calling daily. There contact us page on the website doesn't work and no one ever responds to their chat.
I eventually spoke to someone in their call centre who transferred some of the funds to me but not all so still struggling to speak to someone. They keep telling me someone will be in touch but they never do.
Avoid avoid avoid!!!!

I set up a fundraising page for my friend's birthday.
Once it came to transferring the funds to PayPal it all went down hill.
First I was told it was take up to 48 hours for verification! Then after trying to call them multiple times, I was being fobbed off. Finally after a few threats of report to action fraud, I was given an email address to write to directly, and a little later part of the funds was transferred but not all!
Avoid!

Don't Do The Same Mistake Than Me: Do Not Use Sharegift.com
I used Sharegift.com to raise money for a colleague farewell. Here are the reasons why you should NOT use sharegift.com
1) Unless you contact and threaten the support team, the founds are NOT transferred from your money pot to your PayPal account.
After having collected about 500 dollars online, I wanted to transfer it on my PayPal account. I couldn't. I was supposed to wait 48 hours, but nothing happened after 48 hours. Neither after 72... neither after 4, 5 days....
Then tried to contact the support team, by phone and by email. Nobody would answer to me by email. ONE person, located in the UK, takes messages and that transfer it to the owner of the company. This person doesn't work for sharegift.com, she works for a company that TAKES messages for the company (and some others).
- The company apparently relies on ONE person: the owner. And this is it. So if the owner is not answering the phone (which was my case for 4 days), you are screwed.
- In my case - if was only after one week (and lots of threats) that I was finally able to collect the found.
- This is NOT acceptable. I wonder how the company is still open and hasn't been reported. I will make sure to report it.
2) Lots of charges
- An example: My colleague contributed to $10, he was actually charged $10.45! And I (as money pot organizer) finally receive $9.35, which means that they take 1.1%...11%!!!!
3) A non-secure website
I recently tried to connect to Sharegift.com through my Facebook account, and a banner clearly says that the website is not secured.
In conclusion: Using sharegift.com has been a nightmare - the most awful service I have ever received.
Please DON'T DO the same mistake than me: Don't use this website !!!!

I'm trying to raise funds for my friend's wedding and Share a Gift won't transfer the funds or reply to my emails. I'm now having to report them. Do not using this service! I was also told by contributors that they take hefty bank charges - I'm amazed this platform is legally allowed to trade.

I Have Used Shareagift To Raise Money For A Charit
I have used Shareagift to raise money for a charity for my son. Every few months I would go to transfer the money to charity and nothing happens. I reached out to customer service few times and it was not until I was about to contact ActionFraud that they transferred the funds (and it took them less than an hour to do it at that point).
Same problems happened the second time.
Avoid this service.

The sign in page DOES NOT USE SSL -- it submits your credentials unencrypted as plain text. If this is how they handle security at the first level, god only knows what's going on behind-the-scenes... they probably store your credit card details in DropBox.
They also haven't released our funds yet.
Avoid like the plague -- unless you and everyone you invite to the site is happy using a phoney email, password and credit card number. Do not share any sensitive data with these people.
