Room For A Mass Of Jewellery!
I bought this jewellery box for my daughter for her birthday and she really is thrilled with it. She definately said that she didn't want one with pokey little drawers and crevises etc. that holds nothing much, and she didn't want leather as she does not like using animal sourced products. This box fitted the bill competely and all her jewelly is stashed away comfortably. The only criticism is tha she could have done with more ring slots but apart from that she loves it. She particularly likes the tabs for hanging necklaces and chains on, something we haven't seen in other jewellery boxes. It really does look like leather and inside is as good and well finished as the outside and has a lot more room than is apparent from outside, too. Thank you very much.

Father's Day Gift For My Husband
My husband has been using the same holdall for almost 30 years!! And I tohught it was time for a change! I researched various leather outlets and came upon Queens Leather. the holdall was exactly what I wanted and I was notr disppaointed when it arrived - very quickly - excellent delivery time.
My husband can't wait to use it one our next hoilday in a few weeks time!

Fantastic Quality And Service At Queensleather
With my partner's 30th birthday approaching, I set out to find a quality mens leather holdall, something that he has wanted for a long time. After trawling through the Mulberry's, Dunhills and Hugo Boss options I decided to look on Ebay where I came across the Queensleather ebay shop. Here I found a unisex brown leather holdall by Rowallan, a Scottish leather goods manufacturer for under £100. I decided to order the product as I was on a strict budget, I accepted that the product would probably be a much lesser quality than the designer versions at 4 or 5 times the price. But I was wrong! The quality of the Rowallan holdall was fantastic!
Queensleather as a company not only provide quality, well-chosen leather products, but also provide fantastic service. The bag was sent out by a well-known courier service which arrived less that 2 working days after I ordered it. The price for the shipping was incredibly reasonable and the product was packed impeccably to ensure no damage was made to the product. The product came with all the labels and care instructions.
Overall, I was immediately compelled to write a review about Queensleather. I am so happy that I have found such a reliable and conscientous stockist of quality and carefully selected leather goods. The product descriptions are incredibly accurate (maybe slightly modest!) and are such good value for money. In the future I will not be hesitating to go back to Queensleather when looking for quality leather goods, and would recommend to anyone looking for a one-stop for high quality, unbelievable value products.

I bought a leather briefcase for my partner and needed it in 3 days so the deadline was pretty tight. I called before to see if they could do it and they said they could so I gave it a go.
Glad I did - received it the next day!

Customer Service - Not From Queens Leather
My partner ordered a leather bag from QueensLeather as a Christmas gift. After using it three times the clasp on the shoulder strap broke. It seemed like a defect in the metal clasp so we contacted QueensLeather on 7th April 2011 to ask for it to be swapped out. We received a prompt response on the 10th agreeing to swap the strap if we returned it. It was also suggested that the failure was likely to have been caused by baggage handlers. We responded on the 13th April to advise we would return the strap as soon as possible (and did so the following day) and that the failure was not due to baggage handlers since the bag had only been handled by me.
On the 2nd May 2011, having heard nothing we emailed QueensLeather to ask whether they had received the strap. This email was not responded to and so we emailed again on the 10th May 2011. This went unanswered as well so we followed up again on the 17th May 2011. Finally on the 18th May 2011 over two weeks after our original chase up we finally received a response advising that it usually took ‘a few weeks to get a replacement from the manufacturers’. We waited some more and when we still had not received a replacement by the 16th June 2011 we again had to chase.
Finally I decided to call the company to find out why it was taking so long. From the start the lady I spoke with came across as very defensive and angry. She told me she was sick and tired of people like me who break things and then ask for refunds. She accused me of being a liar (amongst other name calling), told me the strap had already been posted, and not to contact them again.
I was entirely polite throughout the entire call, largely because I was amazed at how someone could be so rude from the moment she had picked up the phone. I could maybe understand it if we had been pestering her daily but we hadn’t. At the end of the call when I asked for her name and who I could send a complaint to regarding how she had spoken to me I was told to send any complaints I had to the company email. She then added that she was the Director and she would give them due consideration. She also added that she could always send her husband around to ‘talk to me’. This was quite shocking as it felt very much like I was actually being threatened over chasing a bag strap.
QueensLeather claimed the returned strap was not received until 2nd May despite us posting it much earlier but even if this is the case it still took 6 weeks and several ignored emails later for us to get the problem resolved. I felt very disappointed that the company did not value us enough as a customer to respond to our queries or keep us informed of what was going on but this would not normally be enough for me to give a bad review. The reason for the review is based in the way I was spoken to as a customer. I also understand that people can have off days and have expressed this to the company but to date they refuse to apologise.
Their website says 'Queens Leather is a family business and because of this fact, we can offer you the very best in service and quality. With us you will get the personal touch that can often be lacking in large businesses and multi-national companies. In my opinion we had neither a personal touch, nor the best in service and quality so it is on that experience I have to give QueensLeather a negative review.

The long winded and part-fictional review by Jamie Rendell (who is not actually a customer of ours) is the result of being reprimanded by an elderly lady director for his bullying behaviour on the telephone. No threats were made. The only reference to her husband (now deceased) was when she said ‘if my husband behaved like you I would be ashamed of him’ The result was a vitriolic attack on her character (now watered down for legal reasons).
Comments on service or product are welcomed. Verbal and written insults on a person are not. But this perhaps says more about his character than it does on the woman in question.
Reviewcentre refuse to ban this person even after the first defamatory version was published. Which rather begs the question what is the purpose of them other than a breeding ground for bullies, liars and any nasty character with a grudge? Proof, when issues are raised about the content and validity, should be obtained – not so in this case. Reviewcentre’s response to our concerns about the personal remarks were
“The review has not needlessly or maliciously upset, embarrassed or annoyed you” (?)
“The review is not defamatory of a single person as no individual is named in the review at this time” (well the first unedited review did and he should have been banned then)
Thankfully we have 1,811 happy customers on a well known auction site who all loved our products and our service. Every single one of them left positive feedback.
