Unsolicited Order, But Charged Anyway
Approximately 1 year after ordering flowers from Pro Flowers (via credit card purchase) they decided I must want more flowers, so they sent additional flowers without my permission and charged me for the flowers using the credit card information from previous purchase. Had to cancel credit card so they do not repeat! Would rate negative stars if it were possible

Do Not Order From This Company!
This site requires me to choose at least one star but in all honesty, they don't even deserve that. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone!! I ordered flowers for my mother for Mother's Day 6 days ahead of time and she did not receive them. My response from ProFlowers was, "We are sorry for the inconvenience. We can refund your money." Thank you for ruining my surprise for my mother and making me scramble last minute to figure out something else to do for her. Florists and restaurants were all pretty much completely booked by the time it became evident Their company dropped the ball! NEVER AGAIN!

Warning! Be Cautious When Sending Flowers
WARNING-!!!!!
BE SURE YOU SIGN YOUR NAME ( first and last- if the person you know, knows more than one person of the same name)- or the "recipient" will not be able to thank you! ( and it is frustrating)- their policy is to send an e-mail to the sender- ??? what it says-
-
- FYI I spoke to multiple people on phone- polite, but very difficult to understand and not forthcoming with actual policy/ procedure until after they got a bunch more of my demographic info to put in their system.
-WOULD it hurt the sender's privacy to
A) tell a recipient with this concern up front that this is what they do ( I talked to 3 different people and the 1st person said a supervisor would call me back the next day- > than a week later- no call)
B)have a drop down menu of what they include in the letter to the sender ( purchaser) of the flowers) -such as -1) the person you sent the flowers to knows more that one person with the same first name)-- 2)your name was not included in the card. 3) the person you sent flowers to would like to thank you and cannot find a current phone # or address for you.-- 4)?- free type option.
5)- option of order code connected to online messaging system where a thank you could be sent to everyone in instant time ( they have the pieces of data with order # and sender's e-mail- they could link the 2 in a way that is blinded to the recipient, but the recipient could still send their own message including any concerns re: identity).
Don't Do It!!!!!
#1 star too may - My husband purchased a dozen red roses w/bear and small box of chocolates for Valentine's Day and had them delivered to my work. He has bought me flowers in the past for different occasions but never from this company. The roses arrived #11 instead of #12 all welted and had bug bites everywhere. All the buds were closed and the note that he had included had at least 4 misspelled words. Needless to say I was so embarrassed. His intentions were good but I wish he would have read the reviews before ordering. He ended up paying $70. We called Pro Flowers and demanded we get our money back. Don't be deceived by the pictures on line and be advised that the price advertised does not include tax, delivering and handling charge so anticipate another $20-$25. I've had the flowers #2 days an this morning I noticed more than half are completely dead. So much for their guaranteed freshness.
Always Double The Price!
Whatever price you see advertised you will need to at least double it! It doesn't matter if you have a discount code, free vase, free shipping etc. They will throw in additional handling charges or something else at checkout to come up with the price they wanted to charge everyone in the first place.
Until they change their deceptive ways, try someplace else.

Vase And Chocolates Missing
Ordered flowers with vase and chocolates for mother's day. The flowers came, but the vase and chocolates didn't, which ruined the purpose and surprise. I called and they said they were going to send out a new vase, but that the chocolates were out of stock. A call or email to change my order due to the outage would have been better than just sending the flowers without anything to put them in. They said they would refund me the chocolate money. We shall see. Never again for not Pro Flowers. What a joke!

Never Made It Out The Gate.
PROFLOWERS: On Monday I order a Peace Lily for a funeral to be delived to the home of the family by Thursday. The website automatically add in the express charges. I called to have the charge removed and place a new order. They stated my card was not charged but the funds were being held. I ask for the total amount of the hold released and would create a new order once the funds were released. They stated they would release as soon as possible. I stated I would not make a new order until the funds were released on my checking account. They offered to call me the next day to place a new order and avoid express charges. I never received a return call. I did get a name and number to call them back. They stated they could not fill my order due to time restrains and offered to send something else. I offered to forget the order all together and reminded them to release the hold once again.

I Started Using Proflowers Years Ago - They Had A
I started using Proflowers years ago - they had a lovely website then and I really loved the gorgeous quality of their flowers and efficient delivery. But sadly, I fear my proflower days are done. The website has gotten clogged up with ugly, cheap "extras" and bogus deals. I probably should have switched after the "customer service" rep asked me if I wanted free delivery and used my affirmative answer to sign me up to a monthly service for which I was billed! I discovered the charges and successfully had them reverse all six months of the charges! Out of laziness I've kept ordering from them because the quality of their flowers is still good, but they keep adding more and more fees - a "Tuesday order" fee? please! - I'm now done with them.

We Will Never Use Proflowers Again. My Husband Or
WE WILL NEVER USE PROFLOWERS AGAIN. My husband ordered the delux "Hugs and Kisses" bouquet to be delivered to our house on Valentine's Day. Yesterday afternoon, I walked into my kitchen to find my husband frantically cutting the stems out of a box and trying to arrange my "arrangement". He was charged $60.00 for a delivered arrangement that came with a vase and 40 frozen tulip and iris buds packed in a box! When he got it put together it looked like a green potted plant with little strips of purple and red. Nothing like the beautiful website photo. I checked the website and sure enough the delivery instructions said "bouquet delivery", not "delivered in a box" as some arrangements specified. When my husband called ProFlowers to complain they could have cared less and offered no satisfaction at all. They told him the buds should open up by today. Some of the buds are half open but now the leaves are wilting. Yes, I followed all the watering and plant powder instructions. It is still a disappointing mess!
