No Warranty

bought a samsung s5 from this company, just used it for 6 months and the touch screen was dead. left 4 requests for the warranty but never received even one single answer. you can find their telephone number on the web.

because this samsung s5 is not an australian model, samsung australia will not provide a service.

paid several hundred dollars just end up with trouble, not worth it.

avaid at all cost you guys.

I bought an Orion HCCA subwoofer and they sent me out a defective subwoofer then they warrantied it with another defective subwoofer finally they agreed to refund my money but keep a restocking fee charge, how do you charge someone for sending out BS product

Dodgy Mobile Phones

I purchased a Samsung Galaxy 4 mobile phone from these guys in February 2015. It had issues with turning off randomly, and when someone would call you, it would simply make a loud screeching sound on the receivers end. It was not possible to talk or use most of the functions between these two issues. They also advertise in australia but ship all their products from CHINA which can take a considerably long time. I asked for a replacement phone, which they sent, but after spending two weeks getting their tech guys to look at it, and then another 2-3 weeks postage from CHINA again. Unfortunately the second phone was also a dud. The speaker phone function, which is something I use a lot, did not work properly. It would cut off your speech, so you could hear other people but they couldnt hear you.

I then politely asked for a refund as I was fed up waiting for replacement phones and figured 2 bad ones in a row probably means they are dodgy phones. As I have used samsungs for the past 5 years having galaxy 1, 2 and 3 and never having a problem with any of them.

The company would not communicate with me about a refund, so I am currently under negotiation with paypal to get my money back. However it looks as though paypal dont want to help me.

They are not honoring their "Guaranteed refund scheme" even though I have done EVERYTHING they requested.

Worst Customer Service Of All Time

The price on a refurbished item on their site was fantastic, so I ordered it. The website said and now even still says that it is in stock. However, I received an email saying the item was backordered and I'd have to wait 1-2 weeks for them to obtain it. I was perfectly OK with this mishap, as unforseen circumstances occur. However, when I called their customer service to get a better understanding, the girl who picked up the phone did not say anything but "thank you for calling..." I had no idea if I'd reached techtronics or not. She was absolutely clueless as to the situation, and told me essentially that whatever the person had written to me is how the situation would be handled. Was not friendly or helpful at all. I would have paid the extra 40-60 bucks to obtain it from elsewhere. I'm concerned with a customer service like that, their so called guaranteed warranty doesn't mean a whole lot. I backed up my warranty with Square trade just in case.

Nothing In Stock-poor Customer Service-hassle To Get Refund

I purchased an Earthquake DBXI 10" Subwoofer that the techronics site had listed as "IN STOCK". I paid on September 28 2014 and waited for the confirmation email and tracking number. After 5 days it still said "pending" on my order when my payment was processed immediately through Paypal. I called customer service and was told that there was a note in my order from management and the representative would call me back. He never did. I called again the following business day and was told the same....and again-nobody returned my call. Day 8 I called again and was told that the item was out of stock and *IF* they could contact another vendor, I could get my new subwoofer in 4-6 WEEKS. Unacceptable and I requested a refund. I was told that it was refunded. A day goes by and still no refund. I called again for the 4th time and demanded my money back and was finally refunded my payment. Bottom line-they have NOTHING IN STOCK and will take your money in hopes of finding it after you pay. Be warned about this company website. I have dealt with them on Ebay with great success, but the techronics.com site was a whole other experience. I will never do business with them again.

No Call Backs, Discontinued Produts And The Run Around!!!!!!

If I wanted to fight with customer service I would have called Legacy. Bought 3 items on techtronics.com and all three were discontinued. Of course nobody told me for two days after I purchased them and was on the phone twice. Absolute garbage!!!!!

Responsive, Knowledgeable, Reputable

I have purchased several items from Techtronics over the past few months. My desire is to buy better quality electronics (Zapco, Hertz, Soundstream Ref, etc.) a year or more after they have been out, thus getting a great price. Service is extremely important to me, but I do not need to pay full retail price to buy best of breed components. The folks at Techtronics (and I have dealt with several now) are available to provide guidance and they return calls quickly, if they need to investigate something. They have been more than willing to accept returns for full refund, with a good reason. When I called about an item that was out of stock, they offered and provided me the next higher model in the line at no charge. I have found Techtronics to be a great outfit. It is how a company operates when the 'out of the ordinary' happens and Techtronics has always treated me right.

Bs And Broken Promises...

I ordered a marine stereo system on a Monday and it had to arrive Thur so I could install on the weekend. So I also paid for 2-day air UPS. I got a call from them saying the Kenwood KMR-355U I ordered was not in stock, it was a discontinued unit (which is absolute BS) and that for "fifty bucks" I could upgrade to the KMR-555U which would be a "win win" situation. I agreed. But by the time they processed the payment, they missed the Tue delivery. I then called the Wed asking if it had been shipped, and they said they were waiting on a cable from the factory and they "guaranteed" delivery for Fri. I called them again Wed at 4:00pm and my order still hadn't shipped. The guy I spoke to said all the supervisors had left. I asked to cancel my order and get a refund so that I could go down to Best Buy and just buy the stuff I wanted. They couldn't process this request.

This company is a joke, the service is terrible, and I would NOT recommend them to anyone. Forget about saving money on the web: they can't give you the product you actually want, they try to upsell you, and then feed you a rash of BS as to why the order doesn't go out when you need it. Stay away!!
