Very Disappointed

Unfortunately my buying experience with Soundbase has not measured up to most reviews here. I did a lot of research and decided to order a backpack for my son for his electronic kit.

I placed my order online on the Friday and on the Monday got an email saying that the item I ordered had been discontinued by the supplier. Soundbase said they could supply a similar alternative made by the same supplier at the same price - ok I said. I didn't want my son to be disappointed.

The next day I get another email saying that the alternative couldn't be supplied either along with a notice of a refund...

The bottom line is that Soundbase list items on their website that they do not have in stock and don't know that they can supply, but still take payment from their customers for. I really don't think that this is acceptable online business practice in this day and age.

My time has been wasted and my Son's disappointment only adds to my own.

Not pleased at all.

there was a small error with my original order, but the effort that soundbase megastore went to in order to help me out was very good. i was really impressed with their level of customer service. cheers

the overall experience was good. The person guiding us had knowledge about his work. He was patient and well behaved. I think you should introduce loyalty discounts and referral vouchers.

I often buy software on line as it usually is cheaper. I would not hesitate in recommending this supplier to anyone. Especially, if you are like me, you had a problem loading the product. (I hate e licences!!)

Their excellent customer service and dogged determination to understand my problem and source a solution has far excelled their supplier responsibility and my expectation. As for cubase 6, getting the software licensed and activated and running on my machine has the first step to a happy relationship with the soft ware and more importantly with this company.

Thank you again for all your help and understanding.

These guys fixed my CDJ deck within 2 days, even though I was told by Pioneer specialist service centre it would take 4 weeks to get the parts in and turn the equipment around.

Not only that but they were a 3rd of the price

Simply Brilliant!!

Cheap & Helpful!

As a bedroom DJ using just vinyl records I have been in the market for a CD player for a long time. The only thing that has stopped me from buying one is the fact that they all seem to be so expensive...we're talking anywhere between £500 and £1000 for a top spec pioneer CDJ...and that's just for one of them.

I'd always been intrigued as to what it was about the 'name' models that made them so much cheaper than their budget counterparts. I have known of Soundbase for a while so I visited their shop to have a browse. The staff working there were very helpful and happy to answer my questions...they even let me try a few demonstration models to see if they lived up or down to my expectations.

I didn't make a purchase that day, however a week or so later I checked out their website to see if they still had one of the models I tried in stock - which they did. It definitely helped that I had been into the shop before, however their website (which seems to have undergone a facelift recently) is excellent and they stock so many items...I'll definitely buy from them again.
