Misleading Product Descriptions

Ordered a HP network switch from here as the price seemed extraordinarily good. The switch arrived in the stated time and was indeed the correct model, but the annoyance was that it came without a power supply! Now having to fork out an additional £300 to actual make the switch usable. Shame really as otherwise this would have been a more positive review.

This part number (JH324A) our customer ordered does not come with power supply as standard, the Hewlett Packard Data Sheet confirms the power supply has to ordered separately.

Take Your Money But Don't Have The Stock

This company are a bunch of ripoff artists, they show they have stock of items and take your money, then if you pay as I did with paypal send you an echeque as a refund that takes 10 days to clear.

One Stop Pc Shop accidentally refunded customer by echeque, we contacted Paypal to see if we could reverse echeque and do immediate refund, unfortunately Paypal confirmed they used to have that option on their systems but not anymore. Was a genuine mistake. We apologise for the inconvenience to the customer.

Not Very Good Really

Made an order then got a reply next day saying order cancelled due to "a stock issue with this product".

Thing is though... it was 'in stock' when I ordered it and it's still 'in stock' now. The only difference: the price has gone up! I asked them to justify this point but, perhaps unsurprisingly, got no response.

It seems clear they just don't want to sell it to me at the price they advertised.

I'd suggest, from my experience and the other feedback I've now seen, that their prices are just not to be trusted.

Thank you for your offer yesterday. As I explained, I subsequently bought the item elsewhere, almost 3 weeks ago now.

Hope you get your pricing sorted as I agree, it's not a good look.

Yes, our customer is correct, the item is still in stock. I called the customer, apologised and offered him the item at the original price he purchased it at. Our pricing does update daily and with the fluctuating levels between the pound and the Euro pricing can go up but it would not have made that much of a difference and the original order should have been processed and item dispatched. We would never try to advertise products with false pricing trying to attract customers as it would be a no win situation as we have learned from this customers feedback. We will take this feedback on board and continually strive to give our customers a highly satisfactory service.

Superb Service - And Price!

When I found One Stop PC Shop had the items I was looking for at a very good price - the cheapest I could find anywhere - I was very pleased.

I have to admit that I was a bit unsure about the website at first, so I got in touch with them to ask a few questions. I got very speedy replies by email, and then when I called, I spoke to a very helpful member of staff who explained their setup, and how they are related to Com Cubed - the company listed as owning the domain name.

So after my initial reservations, I felt confident in ordering, and my trust was repaid. The goods arrived next day (despite me ordering at 4:30pm - well after the next day ordering cutoff time). They arrived fully packaged and in first class condition, via a reputable courier.

In short, this company can be trusted to supply. I have no connection with the company - just a very happy customer!

Where do I start..the lens is absolutely brilliant..it's so light..compact and as sharp as a razor..cannot wait to get out there and use it..Now the company I brought from.. One Stop PC Shop..gotta say are excellent..you will not get a better price than this anywhere..I'm still scratching my head.. communication from the first day were very good..all emails answered..postage..I can't send a parcel half that weight 10 miles for that..how they can do it I don't know but I'm glad they can..guys thank you..I am one happy man..

Unreliable And Dishonest

I ordered an item for this company and when it was meant to be delivered I received and email to say the order had been cancelled due to no stock however, the websites price suddenly increased. Upon emailing the company I have been informed that the item should be over £1000.00 and therefore it would have been cancelled as their was a website error. This would make their mark-up at approximate 900% as the item averages £80.00 on all other websites and shops.

I think they do this a lot.

I just ordered something. They took the order then told me they had 'an issue with stock'. Well it was 'in stock' when I ordered it and it's still 'in stock' now. The only difference is that the price has gone up.

I don't think their advertised prices are to be trusted, personally.

Unfortunately we had a pricing error with a 3D printer, the item was selling for approx £80.00 on our website but the correct price for the printer is approx £1200.00. We had a large amount of orders for the item. Unfortunately we could not process the orders because of the price difference. The customer in question had purchased a different item which was out of stock unfortunately, we mistakenly contacted the customer assuming they had purchased the 3D printer which explains the 900% mark up. We unreservedly apologise for the inconvenience caused. We have been selling online for approx 9 years now and we would not deliberately be dishonest to a customer in this manner.

Customer Service...shocking!!

SHOCKING customer service!! Absolute joke, ordered a Christmas gift from this website, turned out due to my lack of electrical knowledge to be the wrong item, all over the website it says 100% money back quarantee haha! Wouldn't take the item back said it was my fault I ordered the wrong item (please bear in mind I had all invoice and recepit paperwork) then after a few emails back and forward said we will take it back but we are only giving you half the money back as it was your fault. Ended that email with "this is our final offer" what about that for customer service... an absolute joke!!!

You must offer a refund to customers if they’ve told you within 14 days of receiving their goods that they want to cancel. They have another 14 days to return the goods once they’ve told you.

You must refund the customer within 14 days of receiving the goods back. They don’t have to provide a reason."

Actually OneStop, that policy is not legal. Online buyers should have the same opportunity to inspect goods as if they had bought them in a shop and online retailers are not allowed to insist that returns are unopened for this reason. I will not be purchasing the graphics tablet due to your legal stance.

Unfortunately we cannot accept returns due to customer errors unless the item is in pristine condition, unopened and not powered on. It is simply not viable to accept returns which have been used and are then deemed second hand. Most high street stores would have the same policies.

Advertising Products Which Are Not In Stock

I placed an order for an external hard drive on Saturday, the following Tuesday afternoon I receive an email stating the order is cancelled due to the item being out of stock.

I note that One Stop PC Shop are still listing the item for sale on shop.com with no notice about the lack of availability.

In this day and age of automated inventory management I find it unacceptable that this could still happen. They get two stars for promptly returning a full refund to my PayPal account.

As One Stop Pc Shop Was The Only Website In The Eu

As one stop pc shop was the only website in the EU that had the motherboard i wanted

I bit the bullet and went with it

The only problem i had was that i did not create an account before ordering

Shipment was not next day but i got the item in 3 days

The courier did not display a state for my parcel

So i called the retailer up

The phone was answered in about 3 minutes

The person that has taken the call did not send me to another to sort me out

He did it himself so no mambo jambo

The motherboard was sent in a very big box with plenty of some seriously thought bubble wrap

Good thing as the box was crushed

I have acquired a UPS as well

Will post about it as well

Graphics Card For Sons Birthday

Great service we have had a lot of bad weather just now so I expected my package to be late but when I phone OSPCS they were great and very help full with my order and gave me my ups tracking number as my part was coming from Germany and so it has thanks to the staff from OSPCS Cheers
